What lake are you on Mrdeerwood?

Anyone have any issues with their boat heaters. Mine only seems to push good heat when its under a load such as surfing. When i'm idle, there is a noticeable decrease in temperature output. This is pretty much the case whether the water temp is 50-80 degrees. Btw 2016 S226

^Do you have one installed on your boat? Any issues with overheating? Anything we can do to extend the surfing season. Especially, when we live in Minnesota.

The opposite happened here a couple of years ago. Too much rain and they made our lake no wake for about 2 months

Congrats on the new boat. Regardless of what anybody says, you'll soon be adding extra weight. The slightly listed boat wave is far superior to anything you can do with the surf system. You will find yourself using them only to clean up your wave. -
Shrink wrap - remove cover or not?

The guy who always does mine recommends doing it without. Im guessing it would create multiple moisture barriers if you leave the cover on. -
Would it benefit a 226? What does the new plate cost?

I have always done my own winterizing on my previous boat, which was an I/O. Typically, took me a couple hours to do. How difficult is it to winterize my 2016 S226 and what steps should I follow? Thanks for any advice

Any concerns with winterizing the bow ballast and quickfills? How do you determine that all water has been removed?

I have never come close to taking on water over the rear of my 226. We have taken a couple rollers up front but didn't take on much water. -

My wife thinks I'm crazy when I say "I'm gonna go give our boat a hug" -
I agree. We had ours in to the dealer for the same problem and they found the impellers were shot. Ordered 3 from Wakemakers and replaced myself…didnt want to wait until it was fixed. Took me about 30 minutes to replace all 3.

I had to replace all three of my green impellers in the ballast pumps. They were all damaged and unable to hold any water. If you accidentally ran your pumps dry, then chances are that you will need to replace the impellers.
