Do that ^ I put 3k on one side of or elite this summer for a wave. I think the homemade gates are a good idea on this boat. It's much better than leaning it to scary levels. But even if you don't throw a beautiful fs wave you'll for sure have plenty to get up. With the deep v you could have enough push to get up with only one 750 bag I bet. More is better of course and it might not be clean but you can still surf it. Remember to put all your ballast on whatever side of the boat you want the wave to be on. Put the gate on the OPPOSITE side of the boat than the wave/ballast

I feel you on the list safety on your boat. I say do it. Your boat exists for your enjoyment, if one of these cheap solutions adds to your enjoyment it's logical to put one on your boat. -5 wake +20 safety/comfort As long as more "fun" is had on your end its a good idea

GoPro HERO and HERO + LCD both have built in battery.

Don't waste you money on extra batteries, that gopro has an integrated battery. Using Bluetooth/wifi connection to turn on the GoPro will reduce battery life a lot. Those are really easy to start recording, so I would just do it manually. I would for sure go suction cup, a chest mount, a floating handle, and a surfboard mount (if you're willing to mount it on your board ) those can make for some sweet angles. I've risked it and never had a GoPro break completely off. I was recording for a friend at a cable park and had half the case break off on a crash and it was hanging by a little bit, but I doubt you would cause that much impact surfing. Up to you on risking it really I bet most are lost by fumbling it/people error. For awesome GoPro advice check out micbergsma on YouTube. Hundreds of GoPro tip videos. As far as editing software Joe, GoPro studio is available from any platform after that it will depend on your preference for Windows platforms. The "big dogs" you could use are Adobe Premiere Pro or Sony Vegas.

In all reality I personally say why have a 100k dollar boat that you aren't happy with. If any boat you test throws a wave you're in love with, why keep something you're not content with instead. Bu, mastercraft, axis, tige whatever, somebody is gonna think it's trash... But they aren't the ones making the payments now are they!

Why does it matter whether they can resell the prop? The issue is if you get a faulty product you should be able to return it. Who cares if the store doesn't get to resell it. The product was tested and found faulty, therefore it should be refunded. They can put it in the trash if they want, or hang it on the wall doesn't matter. If he paid for a prop it is assumed he paid for one that works. Either he gets another that works, or he gets the money back.
