I rode behind a newer wakessetter (2014?) this summer. Granted I forgot my board and had to ride a loaner, but I don't think the wave was better than my sacked out elite v drive. Kind of a let down for a boat that cost so much more. It was nice to not have bags on the deck/seats though.

Sold that boat this summer, and want to get the next level up. Which is..?? Avalanche? I'd no bags on the deck/seats and PP/Zero off (ideally, both a heater and hot shower, but I can aftermarket those).

Did you do that yourself? Have a shop you trust?

2500 including bag purchases I hope? sounds like a lot, maybe I'm not accounting for something though.

Almost forgot.. Lenco trim tab/wake gate mod? How's that work with the "spray pockets"?

I know I want to install a ballast system instead of the 4 fat sacs with hose over the side we did for months. The specifics of the fat sac sizes elude me at this second, but we filled 1) the biggest in the port side locker. 2) partially filled another smaller one on top of that 3) another of the same size on the passenger seat side 4) smallest one on port side of the bow seating. (Then move people around as we need to tweak) I supposed I could replace the 2 in the port locker with 1 larger one to a voice the double stack and issues with pluming in a fillup like that (?) DIY FAE (link to someone that actually done one on this boat?) Next, horse mat to smooth out any roster tailing? Perfect pass or other cruise control? Anyone installed one on this boat before? Would like to stay around $2k or less for parts. Thanks guys!
