  1. Working out the deal with the enzo. While I do really like the look of the Avy.... I think for me the enzo is the way to go. Thanks again to all for your thoughts. That is the Avy that tws is selling. They said a new blade and actuators and it would be back in business. Still looks like a great boat. Duffy... I am regular though not much experience. Looking to change that ASAP. Looks like I may have an enzo in my driveway at the end of the week. I am having a local mechanic check it out. Anything specific I should ask him to check?
  2. It looks like it is unanimous! Thank you all for your help... I am going to work out the deal with the Enzo in the morning! Hope to have it by the weekend if it all checks out.
  3. Rhuntill - Good thoughts there! I had that thought about the interior being "well used" to the point of replacement. Nice to have a new interior though the use of the rest of the boat may show up in other areas.
  4. 2006 Avalanche C4 2004 SV230 Enzo
  5. Elevation: We will primarily use the boat at 220-250 feet and occasionally at 800 feet. North Carolina and Virginia.
  6. Thanks Dreamer, I suppose for the price difference I could add a switchblade and/or a tower speaker setup of my choosing
  7. Trying to decide between 2 great boats... love some feedback as this will be my first centurion boat. Here are the contenders: 2004 Enzo SV230 @ $27,000 195 hours 1500# 5 bag ballast system - 4 intake tsunami pumps on separate switches (nicely done) one owner - individual selling boat standard fixed plate standard board racks standard 4 speaker sony system - no tower speakers new marine amp and sub woofer bow cover and whole boat cover Blue and white with grey interior 2006 Avalanche @ $30,500 662 hours factory 3 tank system electronically controlled switchblade sideswipe exhaust brand new custom vinyl interior standard fixed plate combo wake and surf board racks 8 speakers w/ sub in the boat and 4 on the tower (with covers) 2 owner boat being sold on consignment through a shop that maintained it bow and cockpit cover Black, white and orange with new grey, white, and black interior with orange piping Both have: black scorpion 5.7ltr motor Bimini top paint matched trailer Both seem to be well cared for well equipped boats. I have been in the enzo and have been in other avalanche boats but not this one yet as it is a few hundred miles away. Can anyone offer any insight on these two great boats to aid in my decision? I am going to be using for wake boarding, wake surfing (thought new to the sport), family cruising, tubing and the occasional skier. I wanted a boat that would cut through the chop well and both of these seem to do a good job of that. Anyone been on both of these boats in similar conditions? Also, at first I was thinking the sideswipe exhaust was a positive but as I am reading it seems to have some downside in the extra noise it produces. I seem to have 2 very good choices here so I don't think I can go wrong but I don't have a lot of experience here and so I wanted to ask you all for some thoughts and insight. Any help would be great!
