  1. First you need the updated file, if you're not close to a dealer let me know and I'll email it to you. Place the file on a USB thumb drive, hook it up the port below your steering wheel, hold the home button down while turning on the power, continue to hold down the home button until you enter the setup screen then simply follow the prompts. It's that easy! Once you've flashed the software you need to go into the dealer settings to turn on features like extra PnP and quicksurf as it has them "off" by default.
  2. Lake Powell Fun

    Fantastic!
  3. Fi rumors

Where's the pic of the quicksurf tabs? Please share.
  4. Swell on a FS33

Quick thought. Since the general feedback on here seems to be that quicksurf on the FS line does not compare to listed but suck gates do and in some opinions are better, why not try make better use the quicksurf actuator and plates by changing the angle, mounting them close to upright so they swing out not down to create a similar effect? Thoughts?
  5. Swell on a FS33

    Fantastic! Pics?
  6. Sounds like a reflash would be the best place to start since they're quick and easy to do, are you already on the latest firmware?
  7. Swell on a FS33

Anybody got some video comparisons to post? curious to see the suckgate wave in action. Cheers!
  8. Thanks, Great info! Any more pics of the recent wakeshaper wave?
  9. Swell on a FS33

Fantastic! can't wait to see the pics & data. Was just about to order some lead, may hold off to review your findings and perhaps order a wake shaper instead!
  10. Fi rumors

Bawshogg, you gotta give us more than that! Can you elaborate on the new dash setup? Single screen, dual screen? How about the nose? Resemble the old Fs? Remember, sharing is caring!

Also, what ballast settings were you runing and did you notice a big jump in RPM? Thanks
  12. Swell on a FS33

Very interesting, thanks for sharing. I've been curious about trying one on our 33 too. How do you feel the wave compared in length, height and push to your dialed listed wave?

Hey Stoked, care to share your speed and ballast settings from those awesome pics you posted? Thanks

Fantastic! Thanks for sharing, that wave is off the hook, great looking shape and amazing length! And I'll bet the pics don't do it justice. Can't wait to try replicate! Cheers! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Good point indeed, hoping to catch some more whispers regarding the Fi and the new tech coming, may just be worth the wait. How were the water temps in Mead by the way? Too bad we just missed you but will definitely swing by Boulder boats to look for some lead. Cheers. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Great stuff Stoked! Any pics of your optimized wave? Saw the little shelf you're referring to, do you have issues with the lead bags falling off? Do you trailer with the lead onboard? I'd hate to have to move it back and forth all the time. Think I'm going to start with 400lbs, 200 each side spread between the dividers and shelf you mentioned, biggest concern is being able to push all the weight at elevation. We already struggle with 6-8 peeps at 5,500ft with a 2079 prop! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Well thanks for all the info man, it's great hearing it from someone who's had so much time behind both models, much appreciated! I think I'm going to stick with our FS33, it's easy to get temped by the latest & greatest but I honestly love my boat and the wave it throws. Perhaps I'll spend a little $$$ on some improvements instead, always wanted to see what a couple hundred lbs of lead in each corner would do! Heading out to Lake Mead on Thursday, maybe I can find some lead to throw in before our trip. Cheers! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Would love to hear more about your take on the FS wave being the best in the line. Could you elaborate? I've been thinking about trading our FS33 for an ri217 or maybe a 237 but have had a hard time justifying the hit we'd take. Based on the wave alone would you stay with the FS33? Thanks. Lak3surf3r, Surf blade perhaps?
  22. I have an interceptor style (like NSS) surf system I could sell you for $1000 if you'd like to save some money over the GSA. It's a complete system with 2 interceptors, digital control unit and all cables. Tested it 4 or 5 times on my boat, got a comparable result to quicksurf. PM if you're interested in more info.

Congrats! The Ri217 is a phenomenal boat! Mitch and the Boardco crew are pretty awesome too! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. InfinitySurf, I posted on this last year: http://www.centurioncrew.com/index.php/topic/11184-fae-new-vs-old/?fromsearch=1 The short answer is Yes! The new FAE is awesome, no spray, reduced Carbon Monoxide and the engine noise is cut in half. Makes such a difference being able to listen and chat to people while cruising, it's an upgrade to your sound system at the same time! Definitely my fave upgrade so far and the peeps at FAE were a pleasure to work with! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. BOUGHT AN RI 257 !

Somebody please spend an extra 4K and throw a surf blade(switchblade) on your 257! Can only image what kind of wave it would throw with those rub rails submerged! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
