Hey guys wondering what everyone's been installing for night surfing lights on their maximus towers. Ive seen a few people put some recon lights up but they don't seem to suit it as cleanly. My old gladiator tower came with a factory single LED light setup that looked clean and functions phenominally. Thanks for the info guys! Post pics too!

So being proactive I purchased a new drainmaster valve to have as a spare because these first gen valves seem to have issues. While doing some greasing I came to an interesting conclusion. The rams all work great when they are standalone. I cleaned/greased them as per the drainmasterr specs and even tightened the bolts to 20" (inch) lbs as per spec. And was still having issues. Sticking, slow opening, some so stuck they wouldn't open. I tried removing all the flanges and gaskets and the valves opened flawlessly. So I re-assembled and retested and sure enough they began to fail! The new ones however, did not. So I retesting torquing to about 10" lbs and found the failure rate dropped. So I don't know if I'm missing anything here but perhaps these older valves just aren't good enough for these applications? I'm using dow 111 grease, lubing the f-*k out of them. New gaskets, proper, and if not, even lower torque specs. Anyone else have any insight? I have not tried to get grease "up top" into the gearing. Going to try that tomorrow. Thanks guys!

Another bump for hot sauce. Love it on the exterior. Esp the lake we go in has a tendency to leave water spots. Hot sauce makes quick work of it + it smells awesome. On the interior I use 303 cleaner and protectant. However I'm looking for a better cleaner/protectant combo as it doesn't do an unreal job cleaning. Looking to you guys for recommendations

I took a couple kids out wakeboarding, I don't try it myself, too many concussions to try slamming the water at 20mph. However as stated above, the wave with no ballast isn't clean. I will try those settings posted above tomorrow and see what it looks like. Ironically there is no preset for wakeboarding in the computer lol

Was the same on my 09 sv240 with the blade so I don't know any better. I've been told to put my stock prop on and use quick launch... we'll see what happens next season. I do love the 15" prop idea. Wish I had it lol

I'm extremely happy with my ri. I was very disappointed in my sv244. My sv240 with switchblade was awesome. There is very little I dislike about my Ri. However waiting for this 257 is driving me nuts

For the record, my 237 unlisted Reg side wave looks very similar. They do make a beast of a wave! Very happy. Cannot wait to see this fa#king 257 already! Been waiting for the original launch date of 2 + weeks ago. Starting to remind me of the old blackberry launch days that would get pushed lol

Hrs are too low to count. The boat doesn't get full surf use anymore. 2 small kids and guests every other day prevents me from surfing as much as I'd like. It's going to burn more forsure but 400rpm shouldn't be ridiculously drastic

So the ri257 will be released next Saturday is that correct?

Not gonna lie, I don't really know how to pick them, I took the suggestion from wakemakers. The stock one was not cutting it for me and in the past their suggestion worked for me. This one is working, I just wish I was down 1 or 200 rpm while surfing. However I am satisfied with the fact I can actually move without dumping water when I have a boatload of ppl.

I'm using my ri237 mainly at OsoyoosLake which is at 906ft Whenever I have more than 4 ppl on the boat it really seemed to struggle. So I upgraded from the 1589 to the 2571. No more struggle but unfortunately I'm surfing around 4300rpm. But I no longer feel the need to dump water when more people get on. Hope this helps you guys

Does anyone with a newer centurion boat have any breaker issues? My ri237 has a breaker located near the main battery switch that keeps popping. It's a 50amp and when it pops it kills all the pumps, the lights and control of the cats and trim tab. I can reset it but I have to wait 20 seconds plus. Last night I was out and it went 4 times. It's annoying as now I have to fill each bag separately so it doesn't overheat and pop. I'm thinking maybe a short somewhere. Originally I thought it was the pumps causing the pop but mid surf last night it went off even with no pumps on. Anyways it's quit annoying, just wondering if anyone else has hear of a similar issue.

It's been a couple days and since discovering the loose wire no issues. Good news I guess? Kinda crappy that little things like this are being missed.

I was looking around closely today, there is so much wiring, however I did note the power wire from the breaker seemed to be loose. Tightened it up. Hopefully that's it. I would be ecstatic if it was but I won't be able to test it until tomorrow. Long weekend traffic! Thanks for the help guys.
