Surfndav

New to powered water sports. Or at least as an adult. My wife of 4 years (Rita) has owned a boat much of her adult life. I'm 47 she's 40. It has been a dream of our's to get a nice boat from early on in our relationship. We have now made it happen.

We live in Mesa AZ. Saguaro lake is 13.1 miles from our drive way to the launch ramp. At least 6 months a year of lake ability.

Boat; we found a never sold 06 Elite V C4 with less than one hour on the meter, and snatched it up for what I think was a good price. Also got a wake board (Hyper lite), water ski (O’Brian) and wake surf board (Liquid force).

We took it out for the first time last Monday (5-18-09), and we both were able to get up on each of our new toys. It should be a week or two before I really master them all. ;-)

I took the nick name Surfndav back when I lived in San Diego and was surfing without a boat a whole bunch. Now I live inland I'm going to give this wake surf thing a go. Ballast that is the question, the how’s and what’s that is.
