In regards to shaka comment I have the same idolator switch can it be used with the 6v battery's thanks for all the help people I'll have my boat at chucktronics in Lodi this winter having the batterys switched out now that I am sure to go with the 6v golf cart batterys any brand I should use

Wylin tunes your saying my 150 amp altinator is not fully charging my 12 volt deep cycles the 6 volt golf cart batterys wired at 12 volts will fully charge them what brand do you recommend I want the best

That's kinda what iv been told by my local stereo shop i think I'm headed in that direction or what do you think about the opima battery's there running about $200 each I wanted to stick with four battery's for stereo only and my stock start up battery anyone still using the blue tops or is everyone switched over to the golf cart battery's
