  2. Hey all this is my first post and would like some advice. I have an 08 C4 Avalanche Storm Series. We currently have 1400lbs of ballast and are going to have 2000-2200lbs this season. The boat currently has an Acme 497 prop on it. I have talked to 2 separate people from acme props and have gotten 2 different opinions. I person said I should use the 1631 and the other said to use the 517. The only difference is a half inch of diameter and 1.75 degrees of pitch. I would love some feedback. Thanks for any help
