  1. Boat: 2006 Centurion Avalanche Motor: 5.7 Scorpion motor Problems: Went out on the water the other day boat ran great turned boat off to relax in a cove after 5 minutes of boat off would not start back no fire no crank so i fiddled with a few things ended up getting towed back in about half way back in cranked the throttle a couple of times and put back in neutral and boat fired right up. Im thinking a neutral safety switch if so how hard are they to replace and does anybody know where the best place to get one would be at. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  2. Yes i have owned the boat since new well long story short the centurion dealership winterized my boat this past year and left plug in the boat...leading to about 3it foot pf water in bottem of boat throughout winter so i had him replace plugs, and dist. Cap on boat .... so you think could be a loose sensor?????
  3. I have a 2006basketball centurion avalanche had idler turned up from mechanic at his suggestion ... boat runs great but when i get to 3500ride rpms warnkng goes off and loss of power???? Boat never gets hot and can run all day below 3500 rpms and boat runs great
  4. For some reason my boat runs great until you reach 3500 rpms on the dash and alarm goes off and boat will not exceed 3500 rpms all gauges working properly sometime rpm gauge reads high but at higher speeds comes back down to match the perfect pass rpm's. All fluids are correct and nothing is getting hot i can run all day long at 3400 rpms and nothing gets hot and boat runs great. What could this be????
