From what I have experienced with the big boy you need a pretty wide stance on it
I experienced the exact opposite problem you had
I had gotten a 2013 trident and found it to be way to slow compared to the 2012 one, and that is why I ended up with a big boy
The board wants to be pumped but I have found no shortage of drive, speed etc,
I was used to leaning forward on the trident to get it moving and when James was out here for a clinic he told me to not lean forward so far and just pump/move the board up and down and it just takes off
I am 230 fwiw and have a pretty small wake on my lightning

rode mine tonight
wow, was it different riding a board that short
I am used to a 5 foot board and to step down those few inches it is hard to trust it, but the boards there and very responsive
I have short legs so to hit the sweet spot it was a lil stretch but this will be a fun board to explore
Heres a lil shot on the good ole Mississippi

I have the pro flight tower if that makes any difference

The cover on my 2005 centurion lightning finally ripped through
Any leads on a replacement onesI see a lot for the c4 which I believe my boat is not that configuration
Will that still fit my boat?
Thanks in advance

Flyboy said late June, on my post to them on their Facebook

That worked perfectly, unhooked the wires and reattaced them
Thanks for the tip

So the LCD on my Depth gauge went out in my 2005 Centurion Lightning, when I press the buttons it still beeps but nothing shows on the displays
Anyone have any ideas if there is a suitable replacement that is just plug and play
I had read in some old threads that you could get them rebuilt for around $150 but it seems like you could buy a new one for that and not be out of it for over a month

My go pro hero 2 with the wifi backpack is awesome
The remote is fully worth it
Being able to start and stop it from behind the boat in the water is great
I just used one of the sticky flat surface mounts so I'm not messing with a suction cup

Getting closer

Getting close I need to drift farther up the wake on the later ones I think I am starting them to low
On a side note
The new wifi remote backpack for the go pro is awesome to be able to start and stop the camera

So vacation week is here and I decided to pull the trigger on a Trident
I was super hesitant to go back to a skim style board after a bad experience on one that wasn't the right size
At 230 and with a smaller wake this board fits great
It has been super fun, nice and loose compared to the walker
We have put 2 450Lbs bags in the boat one in the locker and one that started on the seat and fell to the floor
Here is a quick video feeling it out after we put sacks in the boat

I know this is a old topic but can someone compare the trident to the outlaw and drew pro xxl
I'm 230 and we are surfing a walker project comp x 5 on a centurion lightning and it's surfing fine with out ballast (just got the boat haven't added sacs yet)

Just bought my first boat 3 days ago and have a few questions
I have done some searching but am looking to see if anyone has added rear locker bags to a 2005 lighting with a center ballast
Can I just come off the existing system and add pumps and bags or do I need to install individual pumps and water intake holes, the biggest thing I am worried about is drilling holes in the new to me hull
Thanks in advance I am very green to this boat ownership I have always been able to ride along
Its been a blast kiddos love the EZ ski
Just ordered a aerial wake/surf rack combo for my walker project comp x 5 should be a fun summer
Frustrated with my IS Fly Boy Big Boy

ON ballast setup you might have to get at Jason from the Faction as he set up the Enzo
