  1. side swipe noise

The reason Centurion hasn’t addressed the noise problem is because it would void the MerCruiser warranty. The system barely meets Murcury’s backpressure requirement as it is. Any modification that causes problems with the engine would be the boat owner’s responsibility. If that doesn’t bother you than contact Eddie Marine. Ph: 909-945-2830 http://www.eddiemarine.com/store/cart.php?...=11470&c=67 They can manufacture a replacement exhaust tip with an internal silencer. And if you don’t know the marine noise dba laws for you state, here’s a webpage you may want to check out. http://www.corsaperf.com/mlaws.htm
  2. The Wave....Really!

When the boat was first conceived, Rick Lee felt the swim step would be a great place for people to hang out on and watch the action. Now, with all the regulations and carbon monoxide issues, no one would even attempt to design a boat like that today. Another issue with the platform was, if the driver wasn’t carful the stern wave could sink the boat and the three ports are the only way to service the rudder and shaft seal. Not a fun job.
  3. The Wave....Really!

The boat was first built and marketed in 1996 as the Centurion Wave. The sales were dismal at best so the molds were sold to Gekko and renamed the Bazooka. Unfortunately, they had even less success with it. The only things worse than their sales, were the warranty records. I hope Mr. Lee isn’t planning on filling them with concrete again. The real news is that the Gekko Boat Company has been acquired by Fineline and Mark Overby, Gekko’s founder has taken the marketing job at Fineline. Thru this acquisition the molds have found their way back home. This is taking recycling to the extreme! Unfortunately I’m pretty sure this recycling effort isn’t going to have an affect on global warming.
