06 Black Scorpion 330, down on power?
Enzomatic replied to Enzomatic's topic in Centurion Boat Maintenance, Performance, Troubleshooting
So now I have replaced the shaft seal with the PSS, new bearings in the strut, and installed a new prop. Now that the drivetrain is smooth again I can feel the motor is rough. Sounds like it's only hitting on 7. Anyone here had to replace any of their injectors? When I pulled them out earlier, all the filters on the tops looked clean. -

It wasn't as clean of a break, but same darn spot. -

My friend bought his boat in Utah, towed it back to MN, then towed it all the way out to Lake Havasu, It cracked sometime on it's 3rd pass through the rockies. That's a lot of trailering, but I don't think that is an excuse. Gorilla tape held it together just fine while we waited. My boat has issues this season in the drive train, so we've been using his all season. Surfing from his rear low point sucked, feel like I can get up with 2 fingers now that it's fixed. -

This just happened to my friends boat, while he was towing it cross-country from a trip out west. The wait time was more like 10 weeks. -
New bushings for Switchblade
Enzomatic replied to 4dtuff's topic in Centurion Boat Maintenance, Performance, Troubleshooting
The tool the used on mine was some sort of reamer. It looked like it was for wood holes, the blades were very sharp and adjustable. It left the inside with a shiny smooth finish just like they came. The guy said it was his fathers tool and that he had never used it before. Glad he had it. Did it right there in the parking lot. I stopped by there tonight to see if I could get a picture of it, but he no longer works there. -
New bushings for Switchblade

Do you have an early blade? Mine is one of the first few and I had the same problem. They sent me a different set, but I took it to a machine shop and they had a tool to shave them out a little. I still have the replacements they sent me, never tried them to see if they fit better. That was from back in 06, my original bolt broke and the blade came up and destroyed the bushings in the process. -
I use metal polish on the windshield cap and the rub rail to get rid of the hazing and vertical marks from the cover. Mothers works good, I also have one from Eagle one, that I like. Just a good cloth, polish, and some elbow grease and it can look great again.

Older Enzo How do swim deck brackets bolt in?
Enzomatic replied to Shaka's topic in Centurion Boats General Discussion
The first time mine broke I had the dealer do it under warranty. They put aluminum back on. There has been a t-nut visible behind the sideswipe ever since. I am just assuming that's what it was for. When they broke again last year, I just bolted the new ones on. -

It feels good when I turn it by hand, so not sure it's there. At least my friend has his 24' Enzo on the other side of my dock this season, so I'm not missing any riding, but would like to get it right by the 4th! -

Gap plugs? check v-drive oil? fluids dripless? check The injectors have little filter baskets on the top, I mostly inspected them because they weren't dirty. I have the boat out of the water now. I'm going to pull the shaft and inspect the dripless as it has become dripmore. Last time I replaced it I was unaware of the better alternative. It was egged out that time and my alignment was way off. -

On my 06 I think they used "T" nuts on the inside, can't see them as the carpet covers them up. I replaced mine with the Stainless versions and just put silicon on the bolts when re-installing. -

So my 230 Enzo has 900 hours now. I have performed the following maintenance, All OEM parts, cap, rotor, plugs, wires, IAC filter, fuel filters (both) cleaned flame arrestor, and fluids changed. I even pulled all of the injectors and cleaned the filters on the tops. It starts and sounds fine at idle but just feels sluggish out of the hole. Plugs all look the same color and I don't hear any "misses". My V drive is making a slight clashing noise at in gear idle speed but otherwise seems fine. most of the hours have been surfing loaded. Prop is fine. I feel like it can't be good to keep using it this way. Hope it's not time for a rebuild yet! Any ideas on what I should be checking for would be great. Thanks, Jason -
Centurion CATS new use for old tech
Enzomatic replied to Enzomatic's topic in Centurion Boats General Discussion
Just have to find an old "donor" Falcon boat then! This thing looks like it would cure my wakeboard wake blues! It seems to be impossible for me to get a clean wake on both sides. I'm glad they found a way to get it done without putting some pinball flappers off the rear. -
