Nice truck man, I also tow with a 250 super duty with the V10, it acts as if the boat isnt even there when towing, and the mileage isnt that bad either. It is a tough truck and drivetrain, Ive got over 130Kon mine and she still runs just as good as the first day..enjoy that swet ride.

Thanks WakeDoc and guys, I learned quite a bit on the maintenance forum, I appreciate all the advice and help you guys have sent, and I did change out the impeller and got a spare also per your advice.

Wow got my first boat into the water on Sunday on Lake Mead, what a beautiful day, 90 degrees and glassy, and then my friend wondered where the water was coming from , Well things got worse from there but we got here back to the dock and loaded onto the trailer, and when we pulled her out the water was draining from the driveshaft/hull exit point, did some homework this morning and learned about the packing. Anyway as a NB if anyone would let me know what to watch out for in the future it would be appreciated. By the way the 1987 Hawke is fun, I had a good time with her while it lasted, she did get us back though and I was impressed considering how far away we were. Thanks in advance for any advice.

I have some confusion about my boat, its titled as a Centurion Hawke, but I have also heard it is a Falcon and also a Tru Trac, can anyone shed some light on my boats true identity, I heard the hawke was only made for two years. Also this boat does not have a trim tad, is there any plus or minuses to this? Thanks for the help. Gary

Hi all, since I am a new boat owner and my first boat is a Ski Centurion I am excited to be here. I purchased a 1987 Ski Centurion Hawke, it is in excellent running condition and is a well maintained boat, I did lots of homework on boats before I made my purchase and do not regret getting a centurion, everything I have read about them is positive. Anyway, any advise about the boat and other important things I should know would be greatly appreciated, I live in Las Vegas and am 20 minutes from Lake Mead, lucky guy me. If any one is in the area sometime give a shout out, I have plenty of free time and would love to meet. Thanks in advance for any advice. Garyaloha.
