  1. My boat has about 20 hrs on it know so it may be an idea to pick up an exhaust gasket. Where did you pick them up and do they have a certain model/ part #. Thanks
  2. JoeB and others What concened me is that I checked it at night and after it sat over night it had a bit more water in it. Not much but a bit. I thought that it should only drip when I run the boat. I was also told by a Centurion owner that unless you have it parked or drive on a STEEP incline you will not drain all the water out of it. I think this may have been the issue as well since my launch is not that steep and I park it near the launch all summer between launches.
  3. This will be my first fall at putting my Centurion away for the winter. I used to have a stern drive and have always done it all myself. I am curious what some of the veteran tow boat owners do each fall to winterize their boats. I have a 2006 Air Warrior Elite Bowrider Direct Drive with the Black Scorpion 330hp EFI. I also have a heater and rear ballast tank. These are my plans: - Change oil and filter - Warm up boat until thermostat opens. Shut it off and attach the fake a lake to a large ( 8 gallon) bucket with a tap in the bottom with half water and half RV Anti freeze which I place above on the swim grid . I then open the tap and start the engine and wait until I see red out exhaust ports and fog the intake until it dies or turn off before bucket empty. I built the bucket for my stern drive and it works like a charm. - Drain all the water/anti freeze from the engine via the little blue plugs - Use a funnel and pour R/V anti freeze into heater lines. - Undo ballast intake line and place in R/V anti freeze bottle and pump some into bladder, the pump it all out and anything left should be anti frezze - Lube all the throttle/ gear linkages - Steam clean all carpets I store my boat in a barn all winter. It is dry, however, not heated. Temp rarley gets below freezing, however, it is very damp all winter. Any further ideas would be great.
  4. Rocco Not sure of your boats layout, however, with my direct drive I can just unsnap the floor of the rear locker and look at the tank. I agree the fuel guages are basically useless.
  5. Spy Photos New Centurion Tower

I hope they come up with a good cover for the boat that seals around the tower. My buddy has an evolution tower on his Malibu and the water is always running down the tower and into the boat because it sits on the gunnel and not on the outside of the boat.
  6. good times

Ladderrat That video was great. If you ask me Centurion and other towboat companies should ditch the "fake breasted" models and "six pack ab" guys and use the real people in their promotions. It is a much better sales pitch to show the real family value of a boat (kids smiling faces etc). Isn't this why most of us buy these boats? To get the family together and have a good time. I know it's why I work all week.
  7. I was wondering if anyone is using a Rankin or Evolution travel cover on their Centurion. I would like to get a better travel cover than the gray one that came with my boat.
  8. LETS SEE YOUR RIDES

WakeDoc Yes, it is a great lake however, it only looks like this until about 9:30am when the wind starts. I guess it's a good thing that I'm a morning guy. Usually the lake is all ours early in the AM.
  9. Enzosurfer Thanks for the great pictures. The new cover looks awesome and seems to be quite tight and will not allow water to pool or vibrate as you tow. Perhaps Centurioncrew should consider a group buy.
  10. MANDC If you don't mind I am curious to know what a Rankin cover costs. I have heard that they are quite a bit more expensive than the Evolution. Thanks
  11. Mine went T.U. at 1.9 hrs. That's exactly when my first one quit working as well, 1.9hrs. I took it out and found that I had 12 volt going to the guage, attached it to a battery and found that it clicked but the numbers did not turn. Took it to my local dealer and since it was a Faria meter Centurion sent me a new one. The new one has worked great ever since.
  12. Mine quit as well. If you pull it out and just use a volt meter to test it you can tell if it is the meter or something else. Just connect the volt meter to the purple wire behind the meter. Turn the key in the ignition (don't start unless in water) and you should see 12 volts. If you do it is the meter that is shot. This is what my problem was. If you don't get 12 volts it is a fuse or something else.
