  1. the hour meter is hooked up to your purple wire, purple wires on your boat are always hot with the key on... If you leave your key on without the boat running, the hour meter keeps ticking, however the engines ECM does not record run time -good to know - If your boat is under warranty, dont read on. The factory wires the Hr. meter to the purple feed that suplys your switch lights (the little lights that come on in the accessory switches) when the key is turned on to the 'run' possision. No little lights in the accessory switches, no Hr. meter. If the little lights come on, it's not a fuse. Look for disconnected connectors. Otherwize, do just like acpilot said, if its getting power and not working, its broken. Also a good idea to ask your friendly neighborhood service center to pull the engine hours off the ECM and dial your new Hr. meter to match. Dont forget your 20, 50 or 100 Hr service
  2. No, leaking gas is not normal... Your fuel vent is equiped with a anti-sypon valve, its a little check ball that is housed in an aluminum, 90 degree hose barb thing that connects and vents out of the top of your fuel tank, it is connected to a 5/16" hose that runs above the gunwale (gunnel). That little check ball can gum up pretty easy with todays high alcohol content fuel and winters storage. Anyway, when that little guy gets stuck closed, expanding air has to vent through the filler hose and gas cap, gas is comming out because it is above the trapped air in the tank, above the filler. You should be able to access your fuel level sending unit and the anti-sypon valve fairly easy on an Enzo, Air Warrior or any other boat that has a V-drive, 06s and up all have the removable floor, zip out the 8 screws, disconnect the courtesy light, lift from the front and pull forward and the floor will come right out. Remove the little guy, take him compleatly out of the boat and wash it out with WD40 and shake the crap out of it and repeat untill you hear the little ball shaking around in there, you should only be able to blow air in one direction when he is working the way he's suposto The only other way you could be venting out of your filler will be if your vent hose is kinked or restricted
  3. Thats not sludge in your oil pan, its assembly lube. I assure you, it will not harm anything, there is probably not any in the pan any more, it's probably just bits left over in your dip stick tube, it's a long one that takes two 90 degree bends and it extends all the way from behind your port exhaust manifold to the bottem of the oil pan near the front. If your still stressed on it by your 50 hr service, tell your service writer, service manager, or tech that you are still stressed on it and that you would like to try sucking the oil out of the dip stick tube instead of the oil drain hose. The reason your depth finder is not working at speed is because while you are on plane, there is air under the boat, your depth finder is a sonar, it clicks and times the echo return... no water, no echo. I hope you are wake surfing behind your boat every day, it's got a pretty sick surfing wake with a 750 in back and two friends in the bow, it also surfs great goofy
