  1. Boat has been in the shop getting some work done on it so I have not had a chance to get it out yet. Install was easy as could be, instructions that are included are really easy to follow along with, and the company was great to work with on any questions you have for them. I paid around $450 for mine and am hoping it is worth every penny like everyone says it is.
  2. Ordered mine this week and should arrive on Saturday. I'll let you know my opinions on it after but from every forum/opinion I have heard it sounds like it is worth every penny.
  3. FAE is ordered and should hopefully be here late this week or early next. Thanks everyone for the advice/opinions.
  4. Starting to look at a few mods for the coming winter and figured I would ask the experts. On FAE's website I didn't see my boat listed but figured I would give them a call to check on my options. Worth the upgrade? My main ? has to do with the PSS. I have an '02 Tornado that seems to need the bilge to run fairly frequently. After reading some of the other forums it seems like going to the PSS system would work well, but I am fairly new to the boating world and unsure exactly what one to order. How do I figure both the shaft diameter and the stern tube diameter (no owners manual with the boat when purchased)? I am also going off the assumption that the PSS will work on a DD the same way it does a V-Drive?, so please tell me if I am wrong. Once I get that figured I will look into whether doing the install myself or having it hired out. Thanks for any help guys.
  5. Take a Pic - WIN a Inland Surfer SQUIRT

    Two thumbs up for boating

    Sick video.... Ticket - 843495
  7. I just ran the 911 for the first time last weekend, and I have got to say the 491 that was on the boat when I bought it doesn't even compare. The hole shot with the 911 was amazing and the boat ran so smooth with 2000# and 5 passengers when we were surfing. Originally bought the 911 and was going to refurb the 491 but I am now considering just purchasing another 911 for a backup prop. Good luck making a decision, my vote goes for the 911. Check out the crew store for a great deal on the 911 if that is your choice.
  8. I ordered the 911 from the Crew Store last week and it just arrived today....looking forward to running it this weekend, I'll try to give you my opinion after this weekend and I am sure I will be another satisfied customer.
  9. Called ACME today and rep told me the 911 would work perfect. Order placed in the Crew Store for a heck of a deal compared to other places. Thanks for the help.
  10. Just recently purchased an '02 Tornado. Absolutely love the boat and am just starting to get into wakesurfing after only previously wakeboarding. So my question is this, we are going to be running about 60%/40% wakeboarding/wakesurfing, what prop would be recommended. Going to be running roughly 2000# and 4-5 guys. Current prop reads the following 491 13x12.625 L 1 1/8, is my best option to go with the 911, or is there another direction I should head. Thanks for any info and look forward to learning a lot more from you guys.
