I have a set that was installed on my boat in 06. For the money I certainly can't complain.

I don't know if this is any help but I thought I had a problem because after running 3-4 hours on our way back to the dock in the no wake zone at 900 rpms you could hear a noise from the floor. Had the shaft aligned and changed the fluid in the walters v-drive and have not heard it this year.

I was wondering if anyone had problems with their boat surging when using PP. My boat will go 5-7 mph over and 3-4 mph under. Not a paddle wheel problem. Does the stargazer upgrade take care of this problem?

I have 06 Avy with the blade. It came with the 497. Was not happy with hole shot, Acme recommended the 537 and I have to say could not believe the hole shot and top speed improvement. But my question is first weekend out on the lake and sad to say the prop took a hit. Talking to Nate about pulling it for me but I was wondering if I have to worry about shaft alignment or anything else when you ding your prop?

I did not tighten the sandwich part of the blade but I did tighten the bolts to the actuators. They were loose.

I have to admit that I have tried that also but the rest of the time we were only surfing. This weekend we were surfing at 12.5 mph. Although, if the blade is turned off tubing and running should not affect the fuse?

So I have the switch behind my 06 Avy. Atleast once or twice a summer I blow the 15 amp fuse. Went out this holiday weekend and of course blew the fuse again. Any idea out there why I am blowing my fuse?

Most definitely. I was pulling the boat back and forth from ohio to tenn. because there is no water like tennessee water. I did not have a lift and I would not let my boat sit in the water or unattended. especially when it can stay in the garage.

tandem axle and always properly inflated. Although, I have always been told tires sitting can make them go bad before the tread. I do have between 15-20,000 miles but the tread still looks good. I'm just worried about the load.

So this will be my fourth year trailering my boat to Tennessee, what's everyones opinion on when to change your trailer tires to avoid a road side stop. One of my greatest fears is that I will have my but sticking out on the side of 75 changing one of my trailer tires.
