Thank you so much, everyone! (Sorry for posting in the wrong place, initially...after surfing the site, I was lost!) We are not planning to do the install ourselves. I don't really have a budget. I just want to get whatever is needed for the best price! I thought four speakers because it seems as if two would look kinda lonely, considering there are no lights or anything else on the tower. We are exclusive surfers, but I thought for resale maybe we should equip for wake boarders too? Although, I don't anticipate selling (upgrading) anytime soon, so maybe that shouldn't be a consideration. The multi-amp sounds like a good idea! thanx! sgwl2s

Hi! I *never* post in forums (always a lurker), but I'm in need of help. I know nothing about audio and want to surprise my husband, who wants a new sound system. We have an '07 Enzo w/ Evolution tower and only in-boat speakers. Our boat is quite basic, so I don't want to overdo it. I figured just for looks, we'd need 4 speakers, and now I've found out I also need an amp. But what about other stuff....sub woofers? and an amp for them? Someone told me I would need "cans" for the speakers. And then brackets. Can someone tell me what is actually needed? Where would be the best place to purchase (website or a local shop)? And do I need to ensure the installer is a marine as opposed to car stereo installer? Thank you! stupid girl who loooooves to surf
