  1. My buddy has an 07 Typhoon and it surfs great! The 23ft boat is legit. I would add a trim tab though as it definitely helps that boat control the wake.
  2. sv244 Wakeboard Wake

Agreed, I run mine with about 20% Ram full bow, trim at 10 and the wake is sweet. This boat likes the higher speed on that wake 21 plus mph, at 23 you will be pretty stoked. If you want more wake, add more weight, there is plenty there! CATS is so great for cleaning the wake on each side to balance weight vs moving people around.
  3. SV244 Boat Cover

You should be fine as long as you have the Gladiator Tower. In 2014 you could get the Aegis Tower which would be different as far as the cover goes.
  4. Looking 4 a 2015-16 SV233-244

Check out Overby Marine. Joe has a sweet SV233! http://www.overbymarine.com/2016-centurion-enzo-sv233-inventory.htm?id=1232863&in-stock=1 I am with you on the SV!!! Slim picking on the 244 for those years unfortunately. Glad I ordered a 16!
  5. 2017 238 vs 2016 SV 244 ?

A 238 does not compare to that of a 244! Ram fill, CATS... Plus the stock wave on a 244 is far better than that of a 238. Also constancy...having a preset that makes the same wake every time with the push of a button. You will make a larger wake with a 244 with less weight, no need for quick Surf Tabs. I have spent time behind 238's stock and they truly do not match up, they need a lot more weight to get a competition level wake. BTW.... the RI needs extra weight as well!
  6. Goofy wave on 2012 sv244

The wing plate will clean it up. As stated no counterweight as far as water goes. People can sit rear center or at the helm Port seat without much change.
  7. SV244 vs. fs33

Have you Surfed behind a Ram Fill CATS 244? Both my 14 & 16 244 make equal wakes on both sides! As does every Enzo now. (I am a goofy rider, so this his a bit deal to me! LOL) If you remember those options were first installed and tested on a 244! So those options fixed the Goofy side on all the boats! The 244 didn't even come out until 12..CATS, RAM Fill in 14...... Heck the FS44 only pulled Worlds for one year! Centurion is a company that constantly changes always, thats why they developed the FS series, which started with the 22! hence after only 2 years after they have the Ri series! Of course a wave preference is a personal decision, I have spent a good 70 plus hours behind and driving a 44. I agree with Doug, that the FS is more work dialing in a wake. It is not as constant in switching sides, when fuel is low, etc... That said, the FS boats have a huge wave up front, they lack push way back in the flats. I ride Surf style, so I ride very far back and drive forward, I like the defined lip of the SV wave. I am on my 3rd SV hull. Will probably be the last as they will sadly be discontinuing it.We also put 350 hrs a year on our boat, Plus I spend countless hours behind friend FS33 & 44. Completely different waves. Thankfully majority of my friends have Enzos! Great training for us for Comps switching boats! Also note, on a 14 Bagged boat, the pumps are dedicated versus that of a 2012 boat that used a sprinkler valve system. So they will be much faster than those of us that has a 2012. Regardless you will be happy with any Enzo you buy!
  8. SV244 vs. fs33

The 244 has a far better wave than an FS33.....with being said Ram Fill & CATS are a must, especially when switching sides a lot. If you don't switch sides a lot and want to save the money, the SV244 will be outstanding!
  9. 2015 SV233 bow ballast

Typically with the SV you will not need the bow weight. The only time I run it is with a lot of people sitting in the back of the boat to draw the wake out. I hope your new boat has PnP in the rear!!
  10. 2014 fx44 purchase HELP!

You do not need the 550 motor. You will be burning premium fuel and a lot more of it! Go shake each tower especially with 4 speakers on them and you will see. I cannot speak about the dealership. However, a new boat with zero hours for less money makes more sense to me.
  11. 2014 fx44 purchase HELP!

The FX/FS series boats have a taller shorter wave than the SV Series. They are very powerful. The SV wave has a distinct lip that some people like. Any of the boats you will be happy. If you are looking at a 14 Sv boat, you will need to add Plug n Play ballast to get the most out of the boat. 15 they came with it. As far as the valves, they all had the same valves in them regardless which RamFill. They should be upgraded to the new valves under warranty if problems arise. I didn't not get a valve failure on my 14 until 250 hrs. Out of the two boats you put a link too, I would take the blue one. My opinion the Gladiator Tower is far better than the Agis Tower , they only really made that tower for one year. I find it not as sturdy as the Gladiator.
  12. Asymmetrical plate anyone?

if you run on the goofy side at all this will be the best mod you could do. One of those threads there was some plans some one posted with the correct angle to have three holes and bolted to your factory plate. I had don this on my 2012 and worked perfect.
  13. Ri 217

I have not yet, but spent the weekend working with Adam Fields at the boat show last weekend and he said this boat was insane. the Wake board wake was the best he has ridden. Also stated that the Surf wake was really good. Also have heard from a couple others that have surfed it that the Wave is Legit!
  14. I ordered our new 16 without speakers and putting in Wet Sounds. My 14 with Rev 8's blew away my friend 15 with Downfire, no comparison. Plus one pair of Rev10's take up a lot less head room that the Downfires.
  15. Wanting to go bigger

With the new drive ratio it should be fine, I drove a new Supreme 238 fully loaded using QuickSurf plus 8 people and it was fine, and empty cruising the boat felt the same as our 244 with the 409! So, I opted not to spend the money to upgrade to the 409 on our 2016.
  16. Wanting to go bigger

My vote is the 244. Just ordered another one! The 233 is not far behind it though, as I have had of of those as well. I am still a big fan of the SV hull over the FS.
  17. 2014 sv244 rear sacs

Your 211 is different than 244 with Ram Fill. There is less room in the rear areas due to the increased size of the ram Fill tank than that of your Quick Fill Tank. Also, in 2014 there is not a away to integrate the PNP rear bags to the timed computer system with Ram Fill..... That is why it is required to take the couple seconds to watch the bag.
  18. Lake life wakesurf decals

I have a vinyl cutter as well.
  19. 2014 sv244 rear sacs

Warning!.....The 750's will fit, however if you are plumbing the bags in there with pumps, you must monitor as to when they are full to shut the pumps off. I have done a couple of these installations. The bags when allowed to overfill through the vents, it is really too much pressure on the rest of the compartment. If you are filling with a manual pump, then no worries. The factory 2015 pop bags are much smaller, if you want to be safe with the size I would get those.
  20. new Regal surf boat

Not sure if I agree with that. I don't think Volvo would agree either, I do not think they would spend the money on R & D developing this if they didn't think it was viable. I believe this will cater to the I/O market that really wouldn't get a traditional towboat do to where they live, this opens all the coastal boaters to get into surfing. It doesn't need to be the best wave just surfable! i learned to go ropeless behind my Yamaha years ago! My friends & I had a blast! It's all about the fun! I am curious to see how they do this year at the boat shows once they are completely out and about....If you walk through a boat show just about every manufacturer as models with a tower on it!!.... all these I/O brands years ago never had that, yet there are there now and selling, I would think this would follow suite. Time will tell
  21. ri237 or fs44

I couldn't disagree more about that statement. The FS hull & SV hull are a totally different wave and shape. Ri, I have only ridden behind it for a total of 4 minutes and that was with QS, I am looking forward to see what it does listed & from what I have been told it is pretty sweet! I do not know about LCM. I know Overby Marine has one coming in soon!!!
  22. ri237 or fs44

Looks can be deceiving in watching what that wake looked like...Riding behind it was a completely different story..... I should get behind one again within the next couple weeks and see what the boat can do listed, vs QS and lead.
  23. I competed at Worlds, I would need get on an Ri and list it to see what it will do. The wake with the Quick Surf was very different than that of any other wave I have ridden. it had a lot of drive, but it was pretty mellow. On my second pass of my finals run, I had them trim the boat up to make it steeper & it washed over big time, which means to me (goofy rider) that there was too much counter weight. Again this was a QS set up, when I spoke with someone else about testing the boat, listed, the wake was awesome! Spoke with a lot of other riders who were not happy with the wake. Unfortunately this boat will be out of my price range. As far as wakes go, my favorite is still the newer 244's Longer, more consistent and I love the shape. I am behind a FS33 & FS44 all the time, I like them, they are amazing, but the long curl of the 244 is king in my book. Stock weight, switches sides in less than a minute! The SV hull is not as sensitive to wight forward & aft as much as the FS hulls, I also found the wake holds together better in rougher water too (winds, etc). I know I am in the minority, but for us its a 244. As soon as ours sells, we will be ordering a new one!
  24. Yes, Its Matthew. ...There are a fair amount of us with Enzo's on LKA!
