I am just thinking about my surf wake - if there is going to be some nag on the boat she either needs to be really hot or really good ballast.
-
If she weighs 250-300lbs that would be helpful as well...

Wow... whipped! If that happened on my boat, they would not be invited back out... unless I needed a good laugh. -

It is! Or at least I think it is b/c of a previous thread about this boat. I am really stoked about this boat, but my buyer for my current boat seems to be falling through. Anyone want an 07 Enzo?? -

If I actually get this boat, I might take you up on that Kazz! I'll keep you posted for sure! And in the meantime, I'll ask my dealer what $300 gets me here -

Yeah, sideswipe is the only option on that boat that I don't like. Being able to put the exhaust on the side opposite of what you are surfing is great, but the noise is ridiculous. I will be purchasing the baffles immediately if I purchase that boat. Even if I don't purchase it, I am probably still going to get the baffles for my current boat. -

Nautique Surf System - Have you seen this?!

I have to say... this is pretty impressive. -
My wife and I do not have our own children, but many of our friends do and frequently bring their children with them when they come out on our boat. The youngest that has been on our boat was only 3-4 months old I believe. They seem to be pretty easy to bring along at that age. Just put them in a carrier in a shady spot and they sleep through most of it. The older ones that come out (12mo - 3yr) like to mostly sit and watch everyone wakeboard/surf and then play a little off the swim deck when we are floating. The only hindrance really seems to be that our friends who bring kids usually have to keep their lake time quite a bit shorter because of naps/mealtimes etc. All in all though I think you should still be able to get out plenty. I am sure some others on here with kids will chime in with their experiences as well.

battery tender
sallen replied to poosie's topic in Centurion Boat Accessories, Electronics and Modifications
I just ordered this dual battery tender for recharging during the week. Anyone else have experience with this one? I'll report on it once I get it shipped to me next week. http://www.amazon.com/Battery-Tender-022-0165-DL-WH-12-Volt-Management/dp/B000NCOKV0/ref=sr_1_11?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1368053281&sr=1-11 -
Love the Mucus! Miles above that CWB that I learned on. The Mucus is nice and fast and slashes pretty hard - I am really enjoying it. Gotta figure out how to get some air with that thing though!

Here is our first day out! It was on April 28, so I suppose it technically shouldn't be in the May thread, but oh well Air temp was about 80... water was barely 60. Brrr. But notice the lack of wetsuit! Not sure if that makes me manly or stupid. Either way, by the time I was done I didn't know if I still had feet actually attached to my ankles or not. I couldn't feel them at all. Great day though! The wife was just getting the hang of going wireless last fall, so she is still tethered most of the time and still likes the stability of the CWB. I was just happy to be back on the water!

New prop came in today!
sallen posted a topic in Centurion Boat Maintenance, Performance, Troubleshooting
My new Acme 1619 came in today. This means it is almost spring I can't wait to try this one out and see what kinda hole shot I will get even when running the 8000' above sea level I run at a couple of my favorite lakes. I will keep you guys posted on how it goes. I am getting de-winterized this upcoming week and hopefully be on the water in about 2-3 weeks. The ice just melted off, so I think need at least little bit of warming before braving it! -

Oh nothing major - reconnecting batteries, impeller change, check fluids, etc. Just waiting for it to be consistently warm enough at night to not worry about any freezing. -

I had seen the Malibu thread. Must have missed the Nautique thread somewhere along the way. -

Oh - and it looks better than Malibu's similar incarnation IMO -
I sent you a PM regarding my boat for sale... Let me know if you have any questions.

Sweet! I do enjoy a good beer with my surf session!

That has crossed my mind before - mostly to cover up the NASCAR stuff. Believe it or not (!) I didn't buy it for the big #3 lol It had all the features I wanted and was a freakin good deal. (probably b/c of the nascar I am sure) But if I cover the outside, I feel like I will need to get rid of all the Dale references in the boat as well. And there are a lot. It would cost a small fortune to replace all that stuff. I need to find a Dale collector that appreciates the nascar thing more than me!

Thanks for checking on that! That really does seem pretty reasonable. More so than I thought it would be. And I've talked to Packrat about it some too. I am definitely going to talk to my service guy about it this winter and check out the possibilty. Either that or put the thing up for sale and get something not black and no sideswipe
