  1. SS210 and SS220

I just took delivery today of one of those new SS 230's I'll post pics later this week when I get a chance. Rain kept me from getting it on the water today, so looking at Wednesday afternoon now. So stoked!
  2. There is a 'silencer' for it, and you can order it directly from Centurion. I believe it is around 3 or 400 bucks. There are other threads on here about it I believe. I was going to order it and swap out the tips this winter on my 07 Enzo that had sideswipe, but I ended up selling it instead. The sideswipe is cool for about 5 min at the lake, and after that the noise is just terribly annoying. I wouldn't necessarily make sideswipe a deal-breaker but I would definitely plan on doing that mod if you end up with it.
  3. Board quiver (2)

The Mucus is a great board and can sometimes be found for around $400. That's how much I paid for mine on an end of season sale two years ago. It'll definitely feel squirrely at first, but you will overcome it quickly! It's a great surf-style board to progress on.
  4. Ok - so the 08 in SLC I was looking at fell through. So I am consolling myself by ordering a 2014 instead! lol That's right- in 4 weeks or so I will have one of the first 2014's out there! I think I am insane...
  5. I do fill up one rear locker with gear most of the time and then just switch it all depending on which side we surf, so perhaps it is best that I am not getting the ramfill.
  6. Thanks for the clarification Travis! I really thought it was only on the 233 and 244 as well and expected as such when I ordered it. I didn't want a 233 because I don't really like the design as much as the 230. However, when you guys questioned me on here about it, I thought that maybe there was a possibility that my 230 could have it so I asked my sales guy. He said it had it, so that's what I wrote on here, but part of me still didn't really believe it. Some of these guys really don't know what they are talking about sometimes. So anyway, sorry guys... someone else will have to review it for you! In the meantime, I need to call them and find out exactly how my ballast will be setup!
  7. That is a good question. I am pretty sure it is sacs. But I will double check on Monday.
  8. They were not able to give me exact figures on the weight. So I really don't know how it will be setup exactly. I guess it will be a surprise?! lol
  9. So a lot of you saw my thread from a week or two ago about getting that 08 white enzo 230 that's in Salt Lake I haven't been out to see it personally yet (5hr drive from Grand Junction) but a friend of mine that lives out there checked it out for me today. Overall, he said it was pretty decent. Gel goat was great, interior was good, prop was a bit dinged up, and the back vinyl sundeck was pretty sunfaded. I can probably live with that. What I am wondering about is the switchblade. I love the idea of one, but I only have 24ft (plus a couple of inches maybe) of depth in my garage so the blade might be an issue with length. The current owner knows very little about boats and I don't think has never taken the blade off. To anyone that has a blade: Is it difficult to take on and off if I need to in order to fit it in my garage? How far does yours hang off the back of your boat? Could I fit 23 feet of boat and the blade into 24ft of garage space? Thanks so much for your help!
  10. Switchblade

Yeah - I am pretty sure you are right. The current owner got it from TK Watersports who used it to give lessons. So it had 680 hours on it. But M&M was still doing all the maintenance on it. I had tried to call TK to find out if they had any concerns about the boat but they wouldn't even return my calls either. So new 230+ it is! Errr... actually I guess they are calling it a SS230 now. Either way, better boat
  11. Switchblade

So the SL deal was just stupid. I had my friend look at the boat a week and a half ago. He wasn't impressed. Said it was really starting to show its age. So I was unsure about it but figured I would still go and look at myself when I got back from my vacation. So I called the guy and left him messages... twice. Didn't return my calls. So in the meantime I was toying with going new and had called a couple dealers and when the SL guy still hadn't called me back, I jumped on it. In a matter of hours after putting the deposit on the new boat, the SL guy calls! I didn't answer but he left a msg wondering when I was coming out! So I txted him and said I bought another one. He got all pissed and said he was 'holding' it for me and could have sold it days ago. Whatever, dude. Shoulda called me back in a timely manner. He waited 5 days after the first call! Oh well, new one will be massively better anyway
  12. Sorry guys! I was on vacation! RamFill and Cats will be on this boat!!!! I can't freakin wait!
  13. That looks great! Not sure if I will tint mine or not. I had an old 02 Hurricane with tinted windows and I loved the look but most of the time couldn't hardly see out of it if I actually wanted to sit down to drive.
  14. Yeah. I love red, but I didn't really want anything on the outside of the boat except white with just a little black.
  15. Switchblade

Well, all that for naught. The whole thing fell through. So no switchblade for me. Check my new topic to see what I am getting instead
  16. Switchblade

Possibly next weekend. I'll know for sure early next week and will let you know!
  17. Switchblade

14" eh? Wow, it might almost fit in my garage without taking it off! Although I guess if I already have it off to tow then it doesn't really matter. I fit my current 23ft with room to spare, but 14" might be pushing it. It'll be close. Thanks for the info guys! When we surfin Dura??
  18. Switchblade

Well most of the lakes I go to are 30-60 miles away. Some interstate travel but mostly a lot of county roads that tend to be a bit bumpy in places. Sounds like I should probably remove it most of the time in my case. And I tow with a truck so storage isn't a problem. My current boat sold on Monday, so I will be heading to Salt Lake to check this one and make a decision in a week or so. I'd go this weekend but already had plans to fly to NY to see the fam for a few days. Hopefully it doesn't sell in the meantime! But if it does, I might be tempted to go talk to my dealer and see what I could do about going new.... Hmmm...
  19. Switchblade

Does it come off pretty easily? Is it ok to trailer with it on or should it be removed when towing as well?
  20. Anyone wear a helmet while surfing?

    This is absolutely priceless!
  21. If the dealer wants to stay in business they can certainly just say 'no' to low ball offers. But who isn't going to try and negotiate the lowest price possible?
  22. Ok, so I might have a buyer for my boat and I am on the lookout for the next one. I have found one in the SLC area that I think some of you from that area might be familiar with as it used to belong to TK Watersports. It is a white 08 Enzo 230 and has a switchblade. My question is about the surf wake on this boat. I surf regular, but I believe this boat is RH prop so obviously the better side will be the goofy side. Will the switchblade compensate for this and make the regular side as good (or at least close)? I have never ridden behind a right hand surf so I am not familiar with how they behave with or without switchblades. For what it is worth, my wife and 2 or 3 of my crew do surf goofy, so they would all be excited! But I am not sure that I want to start relearning at this point Thanks for the help! Oh, and here is the old ad that TK Watersports had for the boat when they were trying to sell it: http://www.tkwatersports.com/watersports-content/Used-Boat-Sales-centurion-enzo-sv230.php
  23. This will make you want to get out on the boat

It's good to be the king...
  24. I thought of you when I saw it for sale again!
