  1. Please help! I installed dual batteries with a Perko switch last night in my 03 cyclone. Now my stereo won't work and when I turn the key the engine does nothing. All my ballasts, bilge, blower and lights work. No fuses under the dash are blown. Is there a breaker somewhere, or have I burned something up? Are there fuses on the engine as well? Thanks, Will
  2. I have the same problem. What is the part number at say NAPA or Autozone?
  3. have you changed your prop lately?
  4. I am replacing the carpet in my Cyclone. Anyone had any experience with Dekadance Marine Flooring? It looks like Centurion is using it in some of the new FX22 demo boats.
  5. I will let you know how the project goes. I am getting it today, and I plan on doing all the cutting this weekend. I should have some pictures to post on Monday. As for the cost, I bought mine really cheap from someone on craigslist ($1 a foot) who had overstock. I have heard it is typically $6-8 per foot. I am not sure how much for a custom cut application.
  6. I just ordered some from centurion. They were $30. You can call or email. I got good response with email Contact: Shell Buchner Fineline Industries Inc Parts, Warranty, Customer Service Administrator 209-384-0255 Ext 20 209-384-3869 Fax sbuchner@finelineind.com
  7. I am replacing all of my carpet with Dekadance marine flooring. Easy to wash out, durable, and doesn't have to be snapped or glued down (it's heavy). Plus, you can easily trim it to fit any area. It looks like they are using it in the new FX22 Demo boats.
  8. Name your party cove

Kentucky Lake, Paris, TN Cypress springs cove or Budweiser beach
  9. If anyone else is looking for some. The guy in this craigslist post is selling some of this stuff really cheap out of Austin, TX. Like $1 per foot cheap! http://austin.craigslist.org/boa/3226532963.html
  10. Yes, it is really thick plastic type carpeting. I ordered some and it should be in by tomorrow afternoon. I will let you all know how it turns out.
  11. Hurricane Isaac

Memphis, TN. My sister and brother in law who live in New Orleans are shacked up with us. Nuff said... Also, best of luck to anyone who is in the path of this storm.
  12. You may want to move this to the troubleshooting section, so more people will see it.
  13. If you decide to get rid of that prop let me know. I am in need of a 653.
  14. I get the same readings.
  15. What motor oil do you all use? The Merc manual recommends 25w40 for my 2003 Mag 350, but also says you can use 20w50. Any reasons why I couldn't or shouldn't use 20w50.
  16. Looks like they changed the rotor button between 2003 and 2007. Here is a link to the one you need I believe. http://www.napaonline.com/Catalog/Result.aspx?N=599007+102007+50188&Ntt=Rotor&Ne=50000&Ntk=Keyword
  17. I have no idea. I am going to the lake on Friday and can check then if you need me to.
  18. That is way different than mine, but we have the same engine. You have the mag 350 right? I think someone may have put the wrong rotor in there. Check this link to napa parts (they sell marine parts) listing the rotor for the 5.7 Merc engine. http://www.napaonline.com/Catalog/Result.aspx?Ne=2000000&Ntk=Keyword&Nty=1&Ntt=Rotor&N=599007+102003+50188+2188097
  19. Mine is behind the engine slightly on the starboard side. If my panels are out I can access it through the back locker.
  20. The screw holes are in this picture on the top and bottom. Does your rotor button look like this?
  21. Mine came out once I unscrewed two small screws. I believe they were T (star) bits.
  22. Juicer, Thanks for all the advice. I am going up to my lake house to check on our boat next weekend, so I will let you know. I am guessing you are right on the wires. I have checked all the fuses and the fuel pump in the past. The pump always primes. I have even shot it out of the shrader valve in the past. Fuel can go 10 feet in the air when the key is turned. I will be back in touch soon. Will
  23. Yes, it cranks and cranks. It seems like it isn't getting fuel. If I spray ignition fluid in while cranking it fires, so I know it's not the spark plugs. I really think it has something to do with the safety lanyard, but not sure...
  24. Yes, mine will turn and turn. Sometimes it will eventually turn over and crank, and sometimes it won't. I don't have a lanyard. I think the switch was disconnected before i bought the boat.
  25. Did you ever get this fixed? I have pretty much the exact same problem. Caused differently, but the same problem...
