carbon fiber vents, especially if listing. Some have gotten rid of sideswipe secondary to noise and taking up locker room. Do not have switchblade so can't advise there. Love your color scheme

I have same boat and embarrassingly do not know. I do believe the quick fill vent is on each side of the exterior hull up near the windshield. It is in shape of Centurion helmet so maybe a hose runs through there to the vent. My boat is off site so I can’t check but keep us posted

She’s a beauty. Great advice from Troy. I might want to confirm size of bags in rear locker. Also if Quick fill has drainmaster valves vs Valterra’s and when were they last replaced in case of drainmasters or when was the upgrade performed to Valterra

Go for 1000# bags and hold on buying lead until you fool with it a bit. Listing vs. suckgate vs. tabs (if you anticipate using those) will make a difference in your lead requirements as well as if you are primarily towing or keep it at body of water

Loved my 03 Avy. I put a Bennet wakeplate on it with extended throw rams to see if I could do some slalom freeskiing. Negative. My buddy's MC Prostar was mucho nicer for that. He described my wake as "firm" for slalom. My avy had a killer surf wave and rode better in chop tho!!!

previous owner of my 2013 SV230+ put in 1000# bags I recall. They don't fill completely but almost and I have 9 lead bags on each locker floor. Even if you put the bigger bag in there, you don't have to fill all the way. Better than having a full smaller bag and room to spare

As stated previously I have done all 3 on my Enzo 230+: listed with A plate, non-listed with Swell suckgate, and non-listed with GSA tabs that I installed.

My wife will now drive the boat since she hated driving when slammed and listed

While suckgate is better than listed IMO, especially for goofy wave, moving people to take off the suckgate and switch to the other side gets old. Can't transfer wave during the surf session

A 3 second push of a button to switch the wave and the ability to do transfers under power is definitely an upgrade over suckgate. It is expensive but if already on there you are happy!!

We actually found GSA system loves weight at the very rear of the stern. I actually use a bit less weight than I used to when listed. I have 360# lead at tail under my 1K# ballast bags in each locker for sweet spot. I don't use mid bags

Full disclosure no relationship to BoardCo. But that Enzo looks decked out and clean PLUS GSA and FAE. When GSA tabs are dialed in the wave is sweet and no listing (I noticed no carbon fiber vents which are almost required when listing.) When u wanna switch between goofy and reg it is literally 3 seconds! Also looks like Wet sounds in-boat speakers; not sure brand on tower but heater and playpen bow are also nice. Maybe you can find something nicer for less and it's always fun to look but this checks a lot of boxes

I went to SV230 three seasons back from an Avy that I had owned for 10 years. I absolutely loved that Avy. Having said that, the SV wave is a huge upgrade, and I can only imagine the SV240 is even better. Can't comment on Tige comparison. I started out listing the SV, then went to suckgate and totally agree with Dreamer. I then went to GSA tabs and after a couple "tuning" issues, wave is another level up from suckgate. Check out the threads on Shaka's tabs. Look for Infinity Surf's install post.

Look for A plate, I have FAE also and love it. Good to be aware of the drainmaster vs. Valterra valve issues depending on the model your researching

many years ago I placed a single seablaze when I installed a hydraulic trim tab. Put out a surprizing amount of light. Thought I would place additional lights later but never needed to. I think symmetrically under water line is fine. Good luck!

Sweet! Thanks for the help. I was a little surprised one can of clear coat got me through both vents. I’ve got a whole nother can since I got the 2 pack. Ventilation is key with that stuff

Tackling this project thanks to your excellent advice. This is me post wet sand, pre-clear coat. When dry, vent is a bit cloudy but when wet, looks great. Assuming the clear coat will give it the “wet look” but just wanted to make sure I don’t need to keep sanding

I put a GSA system on my '13 SV230 (same hull as SV233) two years ago. Super happy with results, but self install was not without a learning curve. Got the unit during Black Friday sale so knocked it down a bit from the $4K

Unit seems to be excellent quality. Knock on wood holding up very well as we average around 100hrs/season. We listed immediately after getting boat, then I switched to even weighting and Swell suck gate with what I felt was equal/better quality wave. (Some prefer the listed wave on these boats.) No real change in size with gate but super clean and excellent push far back on both reg and goofy waves. Listed I found the goofy wave a bit more temperamental to maintain. It was then that I decided to commit to unit. Synergytogo's experience with the system on his SV233 documented on this site helped sway my decision as did speaking with Ryan at GSA.

My wave is fantastic on both sides with unit. Goofy is a monster. I don't think there is any comparison to listed. This is pushbutton, takes three seconds to flip sides, and I think adds tremendous value to the boat. Absolutely no spray from my FAE on goofy wave which was a problem with listed setup. System loves lots of weight as far back in boat as possible, so I have 320# lead in each rear locker. I also propped up. I have quick fill not ramfill and I do not have CATS. I actually run without the quickfills (500# each side) for beginners so they are not intimidated by the wave. I do list slightly to surf side if prolonged session on one side.

Can't think of anything else at the moment. I don't have experience with InfinityWave tabs but InfinitySurf's write up is excellent.

Any tips for winterizing quick fill tanks on 2013 Enzo SV230? Planning on lubricating doors and storing in upright position. Indoor storage thru winter so only a few days left outside with temps likely high 30's-40's. Thanks

2013 SV230+

all controlled by Provision; Pro bags are lower screen, dedicated pumps to each port and strbd; my PNP's are supplied by one pump, control is singular mid screen icon, I have a manually activated diverter valve under mid back seat that I have to set to port or strbd depending on how I want to fill/empty 

third season in an SV 230+ same year. Coming from '03 Avy. Ran my Avy listed old school and had great years surfing on it. Enzo wave way meatier and more push. I've run it listed and suck gate with great results. Put GSA on it and after a few initial hiccups got it dailed in and absolutely love it. I love the full rear sunpad and I don't mind the generous bow area which others seem to dislike. It is a sleek low profile back end but going from a slammed listed Avy it is easy to drive even for my wife and kids. 343 PCM has been solid with over 500 hours. I have FAE and A plate. Goofy wave is killer. Drainmaster vs Valterra valves are your biggest headache most likely but there are solutions. It wouldn't discourage me from purchasing it again.

We only surf no wakeboard. I punctured all the tubes when my kids hit their teens.
