Checked it out. The vinyl on the back seat was in bad shape. Has a nice ballast install with bow sack under the seats and two v-drive sacks and a pretty nice audio system. Overall it looked like a 7 year old boat that's been stored outside (Covered) and didn't really turn me on for almost $19k. I'll keep looking. I'm sure I'll find the deal I'm looking for in time. I've only been looking for about a month. What's the deal with these button down covers that everybody has on their boats? "Let's drill 100 holes in the gelcoat and put screws in them to keep the sun off of the interior". Doesn't seem like a very logical way to accomplish the goal when there are perfectly good fitting covers that grip around the gunwales and actually provide more sun protection.

In the market for a wakeboard/family boat. Probably going to take a look at an '03 Elite V later today. What should I be on the lookout for with this particular model/year? Are there any model changes affecting this year that would make this a good or bad choice? How's the wake board wake with about 1,300 lbs of ballast? Any ides how much it would cost for new vinyl on the rear seat? It would be a DIY install.
