2015 PCM ZR409 - Exhaust Manifolds - Overheating
4Newfs replied to scotchipman1's topic in Centurion Boat Maintenance, Performance, Troubleshooting
If your engine has catalytic converters It could be they are getting clogged up which is reducing the cooling water flow through the manifolds? As for fixes, the only one I'm aware of is replacement of the converters.- 2 replies

The Official Tru-Trac [I, II, III] & Falcon Thread
4Newfs replied to Timr71's topic in Centurion Boats General Discussion
Well done on the alternator bolt work around! Sorry, but can't help you on the seat removal question. Never have had a need, or desire to yank mine out. Greasing the C.A.T.S. system fin is better left to a dealer maintenance department. They'll have the specialty greasing gun to get to the zirk in the hull. Sorry I couldn't provide more help. -

what are your questions? -
GPS Upgrade

Did you not have the warranty transferred such that this would be a warranty item and thereby covered by the factory? -
Overheating
4Newfs replied to Rainyriver's topic in Centurion Boat Maintenance, Performance, Troubleshooting
Rainyriver, Same question I posted in the other thread you mentioned this on. Why are you spending money on a 2021 with overheating issues? That should be a warranty issue, and covered by PCM? -
Rainyriver, If your Ri265 is a 2021 model, why are you spending any money on getting it fixed. Engine issues should be warranty items?

New owner of a 2022 Ri245. Couldn't be happier! If you have any doubts, take a trip to Merced to the Centurion factory and take a look for yourself at the build process. Then go demo one, and you'll never think twice about buying a Centurion.

Ri245 Goofy side surf wave set up?
4Newfs replied to 4Newfs's topic in Centurion Boats General Discussion
Thanks for the info Angel00Fish! Sounds like we're definitely in the ballpark. Won't be able to try it out again until early next week. But we'll put your recipe in the computer and see what we can make of things. Great to hear you're enjoying your boat as well. These machines really are fantastic! -
Just took our new 2022 Ri245 our for the first several times this past week. Love the boat, but coming from a different brand, so we're trying to find the correct setup (ballast, stinger plate, surf tabs, and speed) for goofy side riders? We've got a great wave on the regular riders' side (good push, good shape, etc.), but the goofy side, while looking like it's a great wave, seems to have almost not push. We're running with ram fills full, center tank full, plug-n-plays (locker bags) full, and we also have 400 lbs of lead (200 in rear bag locker, and 200 lbs about midship). Standard surf tab set up to start (70 on opposite side), and we've tried the stinger all the way from 0 to 70. LIke I said, the wave looks great, but our riders on the goofy side say their is no push. I'm sure I'm missing something simple, but if any of you have the magic potion (setup), I'd be very interested in knowing what your recipe is. TIA

This message is to the Administrator. Some of us would like to update, or fill out our profiles correctly, but we're missing the latest models of the Centurion line; Ri230, Ri245, Ri265?
