I would use King Starboard. It is durable and waterproof. Easy to cut to size.

It is slightly more complicated than that. The angle of the block adapter has to be correct or the wings may hit the tower. The distance from the mounting point to the top of the tower plays a role in whether the wings will hit the tower or not. The mounting block was designed on the Nautique tower shape which is very different from the Maximus shape. It may require a different mounting block with the same bolt hole pattern. I am for sure not the first guy to deal with this, and just want to get a head start on it if I have to have something fabricated.

Uggh. Please reply to this thread, not the other duplicates. I received an error message that said my thread could not be submitted. So I hit the 'Start New Thread' button again...and again...and a third time.

I am looking at a new Centurion Ri237. Looks like an amazing boat. It is critical that I am able to store my Air Chair on the tower. I have not been able to find anyone who has done it. It appears that the hinge for the rack is made the same as the Nautique tower which is also made by Roswell. Do I just need the hinge adapter like I did on my previous Nautique boats? I am a long ways from a local dealer, so I can't just zip down and check it out. The dealer says it has been done, but was clearly not very versed in this particular item. Does anyone have any pics of a chair on a Maximus tower?

1 hour ago, SamA said:Thank you. Yes, we are in Logandale. Lake Mead (Echo Bay) is our home lake, with a couple trips to Powell each year. I’m sure hoping the touch screens are reliable. We will also spec the boat with a 16x13 prop since low-end power is far more important to me than top speed. The demo Fi23 had the 16x13 prop and it acted like it was zero effort to get out of the hole, but that was with just 3 adults in the boat. I find it interesting that PCM was the first direct injection manufacturer and I have seen several used 2016-2017 Ri237’s with the H6 engine. But most all the 2018-2021’s have the HO450. I’m kind of surprised that PCM even offers both options. I am really only familiar with the Malibu/Axis line, but they have pretty much migrated to just the direct injected M5/M6 engines (plus the supercharged ones for the big boys). I’m surprised for just economy of scale that PCM hasn’t done the same? There must be something I don’t know...
Who did you demo with? Isn't @BoardCo your nearest dealer?

It sounds like you live where I do. Stg?
I am interested in the responses. It is too bad that the site doesn't get the traffic to get answers more quickly.
My guess is going to be that nobody knows a ton about the screens. The oldest ones are maybe 4 years old?

So....what is the OTD price on a Ri245?
Foil Rack for Chair on Maximus tower

Update: The block to add an Air Chair to the Maximus tower does not need a separate angle adapter and fits just fine. So far it has worked terrific.
