What skibumm said, make sure it's on. When you go to turn it on it will ask if you're in neutral, at least mine does...I have the older version. Push the up arrow or whatever to confirm you're in neutral and it will be ready to go. Set the desired speed. Start like you would normally, as it approaches speed it will beep letting you know it's taking over. At this point you should literally just be able to let go of the throttle and it will maintain speed. To disengage just slow down as you would normally. Probably a stupid question but you're positive you have perfect pass? My boat didn't come with it, had to purchase after I bought the boat.

Thanks guys, I actually wrote the number on each of the end caps of the wires before I realized I didn't have the right screw driver to take off the distibutor cap. Between that and doing them one at a time I should be good.

I love how basically every pic is about the stripper pole and it's potential. Yeah, it's got a lot of ballast, PP....but dude, dat stripper pole. I would probably have to stick that boat in an autoclave before I would step foot on it....or a few beers, either is acceptable.

Just get another faria depth guage, should be several threads on the site if you do a search. With that, I love mine and it still works but I'm probably on borrowed time with that thing and I'm kind of just waiting for it to die.

Not sure about the pulsating but I had the same "issue" last year. Between it sitting for a few months and fake a lakes being serviceable at best I thought I wasn't getting water circulation. Learned how to pull the water pump real quick after that fiasco. Anyway, I essentially did what you did, i.e. giving it a bit of gas to get it going and it was fine. Definitely took longer than I thought it should but I just monitored the temp to make sure it didn't overheat and it eventually got good suction and started coming out of the exhaust. I did have some minor blockage in the trans cooler but it must have been there forever because all my old impellers look brand new. Anyway, lake test it is my thought becuase I had zero issues once I put it on the water.

Anyone have any experience with this stuff? Looks basically like spray paint but end ups with kind of a rubber coating. Considering doing my tower speaker enclosures. They're aluminum/chrome and I kind of want the red to match the color scheme of the boat. Mostly concerned about the durability of the product....seems so easy to peel off. Anyway, just wondering. Have scene quite a few people using this stuff online to paint pretty much everything under the sun and it always turns out looking pretty nice. Let me know....thanks.

I think you'll find that very few people use that method as most will use a pump and extract it through the dipstick. Much quicker in my opinion. Takes about 5 to 10 minutes once you work out the bugs.

But seriously, I hate waverunner owners and boat owners that think they're a safe distance behind you not realizing how quickly they'll come up on our rider if he falls. The PA does a nice job of letting them know how you feel. Something tells me that guy was taping his buddy but still an idiot.

Make sure you guys get the DLC, the new maps are actually pretty good. New Zombies is good to. The DLC gun is a pile of crap though. I acutally thought that helmet was really good Dura, obvioulsy your expectations are higher than mine.

Hey Troy, have you asked PP? They sent me a picture of the typical setup for my Merc 350.

San Diego native so a Chargers fan. I'm also a Falcons fan, well Scripps Ranch Falcons. Both my kids play pop warner and they're a lot more enjoyable to watch than the Chargers the last couple years. Chargers have a new coach, new GM so hoping they can at least get a wildcard spot until fricken Manning decides to hang it up...used to love that guy, now I can't stand him. I will say that while our year was the worst in a long time, we beat the Steelers at home where we were 0-14 during the regular season. That felt really good. Troy, feel good about everyone hating the Patriots...it's because we're tired of watching them win consistently year after year. I can't stand them either, but it's just because they beat up on us everytime we play.

Dark, you have the black or the silver? One of the reasons I went with the silver was a result of hearing a lot of issues with the black version. Did you do the software updates? I think they got a lot of the problems ironed out but not positive. I haven't even powered mine on. I'll let you know if I have any similiar issues once I get around to it.

You can also buy them directly from perfect pass but they may be different then what you currently have. I assume your paddlewheel assembly worked at some point. Did it just stop all togther or is the speed just off? I've towed hundreds of miles without taping mine up and never had an issue so I would be surprised to see one of these things get burned up. Maybe get down there and spin it to make sure it's not registering. Also, how many guages do you have it hooked up to? I disconnected my analog speedo and it worked much better...just hooked to my perfect pass and faria guage now. Good luck.

Anyone use the app, I'm getting the silver version which doesn't have the remote and sounds like the app does what the remote does for the most part and even includes the "preview" picture to give you an idea if the angle, etc. is good. I had the original hero and I was constantly taking my helmet off to see if it was on....every single video I made started with my ugly mug staring at the camera for 10 seconds. Also had a couple nice full length chair lift rides when I thought I was turning it off...but was actually turning it on. Thanks for the memory card advice....heading to costco today so I'll grab one.
