Good point and thanks for that info. Thats exactly what I was going to use it for and I was wondering if that would be an issue opening and closing a few times a day.

Try tapping on the gauge while it's running I know that sounds silly but had that issue a couple of times on my avalanche. Rpms would sky rocket I flicked the front of the glass and it would read normal again. -

Yes it might pay off ....And if saves the hassel of going to get ice so often that's a plus . It's more of the inconvinience going to get the ice as opposed to the $$$.... HMMMM.... my daughter now loads the boat on the trailer and helps anchor at the river...... Maybe i should delegate her as the ice queen and send her on a mid day excursion to the store.. LOL

That sucks. I hope my little mud puddle holds or I'm screwed. I doubt it will.My only other option is the river which is a 300 mile tow one way

I'm not set on Yeti if your willing to share what your using. I'm looking for opinions from products that work, and I know you have some serious heat where your at. Just tired of having to take the boat to get Ice every other day. It cuts into riding time! Thx

Copy that!!! I can't see the valve closed in the picture just trying to keep Boatnut happy on the water!! Yes I closed the gates and sprayed the valve while in the closed position and cycled it open and closed several times ( if that makes sense!) -

In the top picture your gate looks like it is only 1/2 open/closed. Maybe you took the picture while the gate was moving ??? My starboard side was a bit sticky till I sprayed silicone on it and open and closed it several times on the trailer.
