  1. Hey guys here asking for a bit of help. I have a 2003 Centurion Avalanche. The previous owner put a fiberglass swim deck on the boat. Which seems to mount on top of the original. Can anyone help with finding a replacement? It’s def seen better days. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you in advance I tried posting a picture...but it says it to big.
  2. Just want to say hello and ask what I'm sure will end up being, a TON of questions. I just bought a 2011 Avalanche C4! (taking delivery in a week or 2). I'm excited to say the least. This is my family's first boat and we can't wait to get on the water. Thanks in advance for any and all help. 2 questions to start... 1. The edges of the swim platform cover are peeling up. Do you guys recommend a factory style pad or sea dek/ gator step style? I'm a handy guy, so making one from scratch to save $$ is a plus. 2. The boat does not have the bow filler cushion. It's not a major priority, but I thought I would start early in my search. The interior is Light Grey/Too Blue Thanks again for the add and I look forward to getting to know you all, Richie
  3. My '13 SV233 has a surf platform on it and I want the "standard" sized one that measures 67" in width, 10 inches wider than the surf one. Does Anyone have a regular surf platform they are willing to swap with me for my surf one? Not wanting to pay $1,800 for a new one and can't find a regular replacement one anywhere. We would each pay the respective shipping costs and send to the other after the appropriate conversation and pictures are exchanged. Let me know. See picture P.s. And if anyone knows of a place that has made a custom one for a wakesurf boat do please let me me know. Thanks Crew!
  4. Hi all, I wanted to share my recent modification to my 2005 Lightning C4. I've had the boat for a few months now and love it. The other week, we were hanging out at the springs, and my wife was sitting on the swim platform with the original rubber pad. When the pad gets wet, it easily stains and leaves marks on anything that touches it. She got up and saw her entire leg covered in black marking. It was at that moment I knew we needed to replace the pad. I immediately called my dealer (Transition Watersports) and got the ball rolling. They're a GatorStep dealer. They worked with me to get the design squared away. I ordered on a Thursday and had the new pad arrive Monday! Removal/application process. 1. Removal - I park my boat outside (for the time being). I called GatorStep and asked what the best route was to remove the existing pad. They said get it hot, pick a corner and pull. I did just that. The pad had been in the sun all day, so I picked a corner and bam.. the entire pad was off in less than 1 minute. 2. Cleaning - I picked up a plastic scraper and a bottle of Goo Gone. I squirted the entire bottle on the pad, saturated all the remaining adhesive and let it sit for 10 minutes. I came back with my scraper and went to town. 3. Prep - After I removed all the old adhesive, I took isopropyl alcohol and wiped everything down three times to ensure the surface would be best for adhesion. 4. New pad - Super simple process: Line up the new pad with the platform, peel a corner, stick down, ensure you're aligned and finish up. Nice thing about GatorStep is that, if you mess up, it's 3M backing, so you have a few chances to pull back up and re-apply without losing any adhesion. I went with the Centurion logo'd Cascade design in sharkfin gray with the scraped surface. Took it out the next day and couldn't be happier! Now, I need a swim platform cover to keep it protected. In all, I couldn't be happier. Word of caution... once you do the swim platform, you'll want to do the entire cockpit and bow... #ByeByeWallet
  5. Just picked up a 208V SKY with only 73 hrs on it. Really like this boat just have a few questions some of you might be able to help me with. We have put around 12 hrs on it in the past three weeks everything seems to work like it should. It didn't have a bimini top with it does anyone have any suggestions for OEM or a good aftermarket top that goes nicely with this tower. The only problem i am having is the swim platform brackets keep breaking.I had them tig welded. This seems to be a common problem from back then. I have read on an old forum that the manufacturer would replace them with stainless brackets for free. I called them and they said they would sell me new ones that go on a newer boat for around 250$ a piece. But i would have to fill the bracket holes in the back of the boat and drill and tap new holes in the transom. I am more than capable of doing this but dang i hate drilling into a perfectly good boat. I have a fab shop making me some stainless brackets now. Its a bit disappointing I understand the company was sold in 2010 to finline. I'm sure thats part of the problem I'm going to have with anything for a boat pre 2010. I called them about manuals and they don't have them either they did email me a generic centuion manual. but nothing on the motor /trans/or Vdrive. This boat was a repo so very little came with the boat. My last boat was a older moomba and skiers choice was very good to deal with, actually had worn out swim platform bracket and was able to order those for a 10 year old boat. All in all we love this boat I think the family will enjoy it for many years to come. Thanks
  6. So... out at the lake yesterday having a great day. Pulling a wake surfer. All of the sudden, after we stopped, the swim platform came loose. Thankfully it floated. Turns out it sheared along the welds for both brackets. A very clean break, but shaking my head as to what caused this. Anyone had this happen to you? The part that is held in by the pin on both brackets is still there.. just the rest of the bracket was sheared off along the weld. Thoughts? 2006 Enzo 230 with 200 hours
  7. I bought a 2004 Avalanche but the swim platform is missing. Anyone know where to get one? Casey
  8. Seadek

Going on third year of my Centurion logo seadek - pretty heavy use - has to be one of the best investments I've made. This is one of those products that is worth every penny. Looks great, works perfectly, has held up to some brutal sunshine. Hat's off - if you have a bad looking deck this is a no-brainer.
