  1. New boat owner, 2003 elite v, was out and rpm, volt, speedometer stopped working while pressure, temp and gas continued to work. Any thoughts on how to repair / troubleshoot? engine runs great and the surf / wake are killer. Loss of rpm speed and volts makes me nervous.

  19. Hi all, I have a 1986 Ski Centurion Tru Trac that has been in my family since new. I'm currently trying to rewire the dash and upgrade the fuse panel from the old glass style fuses to something more modern like blade fuses. The old wiring is poorly constructed, starting to oxidize and is causing problems with the gauges as well as navigation lights. I have not been able to find anything even close to a dash wiring diagram for my boat or a replacement harness. If anybody has a diagram or link to a replacement harness I'd greatly appreciate it. Also, if anybody is familiar with the correctcraftfan.com forums, their "reference" section with manuals and wiring diagrams is super helpful. Maybe we could start something like that on here? Thanks
  20. I looking to replace my gauges on my '05 Cyclone. Both multifunction gauges have one function that is not working. On the (Tach/Temp/Oil psi gauge, Faria GTC006A) the tach doesn't work and on the (Speed/Volt/Fuel gauge, Faria GSC002A) the volt doesn't work. The Centurion dealer wants around $300 each and I have not had any luck calling Faria. Does anyone know where I can get my hands on some replacements? I would also entertain going to another brand so as the size is the same. Not so fixed on a direct replacement as long as I can get the same functions in the two gauges. The problem I'm finding is that my speed is 50mph max (paddle wheel) with the fine tune adjustment and most others are pitot. Any suggestions?
  21. Hello, First of all, great forum with tons of good information. I found everything I needed to get my ballast setup ordered and on the way this week. This is the first season I will have my own boat following years of tagging along with friends and recently bought an ’03 Escalade. I have a couple questions after recent trips: 1. I need to replace the tachometer. Can anyone recommend a source for direct replacement gauges? The ones I found online so far look to have a substantially different connection than my gauges. My wiring ability level ends when I can’t unplug from one and plug into another. 2. Turning to starboard has a “dead zone” about 10+ degrees off of straight on. What I have read so far is this may be point to a steering cable that needs replaced? Any other issues that could cause that or is it just a cable job? Thanks for any help! -Jason
  22. Hello everyone, I am new to the Centurion Family and just recently picked up a 2002 Centurion Eclipse. Boat is in immaculate shape and only has 202 Hours on the motor. This is not my first boat but this is my first "ski" boat. The question I have and I have been looking all over for the answer, is above the steering wheel below the gauges there are 2 control knobs that turn clockwise. This may seem like a stupid question, but what are they for? I have only taken the boat out once for about 30 minutes for a lake test. but I did notice that the gauge needles would jump all over the place when those knobs were turned. Any information would be gratefully appreciated! Thank You!
