  1. So after my friends constant persuasion, I tried a Mission Delta that he uses on his Nautique 230. For the record, it does make the Nautique pretty fun to surf with a really nice, pushy, skim style wake. I installed it on my evenly weighted V226 and was unimpressed to say the least. Very little push and the wave was short.......I then tried the combination of the shaper and a slight list, it made it surfible but the wave was still short. I pulled the shaper off and kept the same slight list and the wave instantly gained height and push! Finally I weighted the boat for it's normal listed wave and it was back to big, long, and awesome! All of this was done on the regular side. Bottom line, the shapers might not be a great investment if you are a V226 owner looking for a great wave. I agreed to do this experiment looking for a way to speed up the regular to goofy switch times! I guess I will keep throwing lead and filling/dumping bags . ☹️
  2. I had a couple of free hours today to start the install of my new GSA system. I currently have just 2 hours invested in the install of the tabs....The install vids on GSA’s website are very helpful up to this point.
  3. I saw someone on her do this and I thought it was a great idea to pick up just a little more storage! This is the dead space / access above the transmission and vdrive under the middle cushion of the back seat. It is a $3 container I got at Menards. 19”x12”x8”. Fits perfect!
  4. After my wife's constant reminders that she still hates to drive our 226 while people are surfing due to list and bow rise, I'm seriously considering a GSA surf system for next season. Ryan from GSA tells me that he has at least 8 226's out there with his system on it and he hasn't had anyone complain that it made the wave worse than the dialed listed wave. Do any of you on this fourm with an 226 run one of these systems? I've read on other threads that the Enzo's respond well to the GSA systems.......Any thoughts out there before I spend the $$$$$$$$$!
  5. Going for a demo on a 2017 s238 Friday afternoon. It has upgraded 1000 pound sumos in the rear pnp's. I'm cautiously optimistic that I will like the wave but am skeptical at the same time because I feel spoiled by my dialed 226 wake. Any thoughts from you 238 guys?
