I used to get a little vibration like what you describe. I had not hit anything and a visual inspection of the prop showed nothing. But when I pulled the prop off to change to a different pitch prop it was obvious on much closer inspection that there was some slight variation of the blades from their normal and finely tuned position. It was very very minor but I found it does not take much to get the vibration. Pull your prop off the boat and inspect carefully.

Is there any one around you that you could swap props for an hour with to diagnose weather it really is the prop or not???

What everyone has said. My prop had no visual damage but had the same symptoms. New prop was the best change I've made to the boat. I think it was $425 shipped.

Also, when I took the old prop to get fixed, I had it pitched to be as close to the new prop as possible. This way if I ever have to put the old prop back on it will be much better at getting the boat out of the water.

Upgrading the prop was the best change I made to my elite v. I also had tiny dings that caused vibration.
This time around I made sure I upgraded the prop from day 1.

first off check all spark plugs and wires if no problem is found expect to pay around $185 for an alignment if you need a shaft it goes up $450 for shaft and coupler plus labor for install and alignment at an average cost of $75hr

Where do you feel it? When do you feel it...going straight, just turning?

I have the same boat, an 08, and I get some vibration in my steering wheel once in a while...more noticeable when the boat is loaded, and primarily when I'm turning to the right and applying throttle.

Duramat on this site gets the same thing...could be normal?

How much did it cost? I think I want to have mine done since I changed my v-drive out.

Called my local shop and they said it's usually less than an hour. They can even do it with the boat in the water. They use a feeler gauge to make sure the union from the v-drive to the prop shaft is perfect.
