  1. Hello All, I'm considering an 05 Avy with switchblade. Has anyone used SB? Thoughts? Opinions? Never heard anything bad, just havent heard a big demand either. 05-06 have 2:1 trany, but trying to keep it light (3600lb lift), so 07+ is out. Single biggest concern is surf wave. Actually its #1,#2, & #3. Thx, Mike
  2. Just found this on ebay! http://www.ebay.ca/itm/SKI-CENTURION-WAKEZUP-27-1-2-X-14-1-4-INCH-SS-MARINE-BOAT-WAKE-ENHANCEMENT-/191002143465?pt=Boat_Parts_Accessories_Gear&hash=item2c789d6ae9&vxp=mtr
  3. Who surfs on the Bennett trim tab alone? Is is good enough when combined with the factory ballast or enzo sacs on newer models? I'll be in the market for a 09 or newer boat to replace my 07 SV230 (with blade) and any info would be appreciated!
  4. 2005 Mastercraft X-80 with Dual SwitchBlades . No idea how that wake looks but here is that boat (probably massive since its a whopper): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C_VxEBAdt7I
  5. The correct answer is "super lucky". We were out a few days ago on our usual lake (Utah lake) which is a natural, shallow lake. On this particular day we were way out on the west side with like fourteen people in the boat, about two hundred yards from the shore, and I noticed the depth gauge go to like two feet suddenly! Just as I was reaching for the key and the throttle, we heard the boat hitting rocks; not too loudly but unmistakable. I got out, and the switchblade was lightly touching the rocks. We floated the boat out deeper and I checked the prop with my hands (you can't see two inches in that lake), and it felt fine. We finished the day with no problems. Back home I took a second look with it on the trailer. No propeller damage, some slight scratches on the bottom of the rudder, and the leading edge of the switchblade has several little dents where it hit the rocks. We've been out since, and everything still works fine. I can't believe how fortunate we were. Has this happened to anybody else; particularly with a switchblade?
