  1. My friends and I are renting a houseboat May 9-13 at Lake Powell. We are taking our 2013 Elite C4 to surf and explore. I have heard many stories about crazy wind storms erupting and causing havoc. My biggest fear is that our baby (Elite C4) will be damaged. None of us have any experience with anchoring. I have done some research and I decided to go with a box anchor made by slide anchors. I got the small one rated for boats 18'-30'. Will this be enough? I was doing some research online and saw two separate diagrams one illustrated 2 box anchors attached to the bow making a Y shape. Another showed 2 box anchors linked together with a few feet of line in between them. I also bought the Shore Spike by Anchor Buddy for other uses and the bungee anchor line. Can someone please give me any tips for anchoring our baby. Nothing would ruin a trip more that hull damage.
