  1. Bought this 2001 Elite in late 2001. It's been a great boat. Last couple summers the tach and speedos have been acting up. I want to remove them and send to Faria for repair. I'm a pretty technical/mechanical old guy. Have any of you removed the entire dash module on this vintage boat? As with most gauges you have to get to the clamp behind the gauge. And it's not accessible unless you remove the dash module. Looks like I may have to remove the steering wheel assemble and the shift/throttle unit from the gunnel. Any hints would be greatly appreciated. (Ironically, I purchased this boat from the owner of a company in Angola Indiana who molded the dash, made the wiring harnesses and put the gauges in place. Then he shipped the entire module to the Fineline plant in Merced.)
  2. Does anyone know a good replacement gauge that will fit in the hole for the Pilot I ? I have a 2004 Centurion Enzo SV230 and HATE my Pilot I gauge. The battery low alarm always goes off -- I've reset the low alarm which holds until I turn the batteries off and then it defaults to 12. The process to resert the battery low alarm is buggy -- sometimes the sequence works - but most times it doesn't and I wind up switching something I didn't want to switch. I feel like the roadrunner and the cayote with this guage and unless I replace it with somethign better, I'm going to keep having an anvil dropped on my head. Any suggestions for new gauges ??
  3. I looking to replace my gauges on my '05 Cyclone. Both multifunction gauges have one function that is not working. On the (Tach/Temp/Oil psi gauge, Faria GTC006A) the tach doesn't work and on the (Speed/Volt/Fuel gauge, Faria GSC002A) the volt doesn't work. The Centurion dealer wants around $300 each and I have not had any luck calling Faria. Does anyone know where I can get my hands on some replacements? I would also entertain going to another brand so as the size is the same. Not so fixed on a direct replacement as long as I can get the same functions in the two gauges. The problem I'm finding is that my speed is 50mph max (paddle wheel) with the fine tune adjustment and most others are pitot. Any suggestions?
