  1. Hey all! New owner - first time post. I recently bought an 2014 Centurion Enzo SV244. The boat has lived its life on a boat lift in Tennessee and does not come with a trailer. Would anyone here have a trailer for sale that would fit a 2014 SV244? I believe Boatmate manufactured the trailers for Centurion during this time frame. Thanks! Looking forward to being a part of the community here.
  2. Had a replacement winch in the garage for a while because I didn't take the time to figure out how I wanted to retrofit a 3-bolt winch on my 2-bolt trailer. Others have just drilled the extra holes, but I didn't really want to do that and didn't trust I get the holes square on the square tube. I read a couple of threads on other forums folks have used a washer and one bolt on the back and the winch failed (or the washer failed, then the winch broke). So I came up with an alternate way to spread the load - will report back the results. Basically I just cut a piece of 1/4" x 1" stock down to 2 1/2" and drilled a hole dead center: Slide this in the winch body between the two gear assemblies, fish a 4 1/2" fully threaded hex head bolt and flat washer into the plate, and then towards the back of the winch. You'll have to massage it a bit by angling the plate to get it to fit, but I figured out this is the max size that will fit in there. The plate basically spreads the load where the 2 bolts would have done that job. I was able to fit a 9/16" box end wrench in under the gear assemblies to hold the hex head while tightening. I think this will be an effective and cheap solution for others that don't want to drill extra holes, but time will tell.
  3. Good afternoon friends- I am looking at purchasing a new boat trailer and came across a '17 Boatmate that was designed for an '03 Typhoon. I currently have a 2005 Elite C4. What are your thoughts for fitment? I am going to call Boatmate today, but ultimately I'm sure they will elude to buying a new custom trailer from them. Before I waste the sellers time, I'd like to hear your thoughts. Thanks so very much ahead of time.
  4. I true wally fashion, I hit curb yesterday pulling out of a parking lot...traffic was heavy, I was focused too much on getting out and just cut it too soon running up on the curb pretty good. I noticed when I got home that the front trailer wheel is quite a bit out of align. Is there any alignment adjustment on the boatmate trailers, or did I bend something? It still handles okay and doesn't pull, but that tire is going to wear down really quickly if I don't get it straightened back out. Any advice would be appreciated.
