steering problems
badfhussar posted a topic in Centurion Boat Maintenance, Performance, Troubleshooting
Hey all, Just received my brand new supreme ZS232 [2023], and only drove it for a few hours before the steering went crazy on me. Basically when i turn the to right, then want to go left the boat refuses to go left. When I turn the steering wheel towards the left it feels stiff and just wont turn the rudder. So i stop the boat, put it into neutral, then turn the wheel full right, hold it a few seconds, then turn it full left, and you can feel it un-stiffen, and then steering goes full left. Thing is... this happens constantly- I'll put the boat back into gear head straight, turn to the right and BAM, cant turn left anymore! Again i'll have to stop, turn the wheel left then full right then full left again, wait for the wheel to loosen up, and it'll work for a bit. Just recently this started also happening the other way around- meaning i can turn left but not right. Driving me nuts! I have a guy coming to look at it on Friday, but I figured I'd hit you guys up as well! Anyone else experience this issue? -
Engine Quick Drain System for Winterization
Riverguy posted a topic in Supreme Boat Maintenance, Performance, Troubleshooting
Getting to know my 2021 ZS232's raw water drain system for winterization. Can it really be this simple? I plan to have my dealer handle this, but it would be nice to know in the event of a early or late season freeze as I live in the Northern states. I would obviously drain the strainer and any other intakes (ballast, etc...). This is my first inboard, so I am still learning. I posted a quick video of what the three hoses look like on my engine. -
Looking for some thoughts on what first boat to buy. We want to keep things sub$120k and we've found two great boats: 2017 Ri237 and a 2021 ZS232 that are the same price. https://classifieds.ksl.com/listing/68107075 https://www.onlyinboards.com/2021-Supreme-ZS232-for-sale-ROHNERT-PARK-California-136159.aspx We'll likely surf 40%, board 40% and tube 20%. The warranty is important to us, but the quality of the wake is most important. You guys are the experts, so I'm hoping you can help us decide whether a slightly older Ri is still better than a new ZS232. Thanks in advance!

I have a 2020 ZS232 and have had an alarm a couple of times and while investigating I had unplugged a couple of sensors such as the oil pressure sensor while the boat was running and I realized that I did not see a dash warning such as a check engine light. Do these boats not have an engine light or dash warning system for engine malfunctions? What about stored code access? If there is a malfunction system, can stored code data be accessed via the touch screen? Thanks for all the help!

Just closed on a 2021 ZS232 this week. I only have the actual factory pic as the boat is wrapped for the Winter in Minnesota. Moved up from a Yamaha 242x, which was a great family boat, but not what I needed for water sports. Inventory is limited and moving fast this year, so don't wait if you are in the market. I also noticed a lot of water sports accessories (vests, etc...) are on back order. Hope to keep this forum active as I don't do FB. Let me know if any of you boat on the St Croix River. Hope to see you this Summer.

I’m purchasing a leftover new 2019 ZS232. It doesn’t have the ski pole, which I kinda like because it helps with storage. We don’t ever ski (maybe 1x year). BUT, we do tube with kids every time we are on the lake. They said we can tube and do the occasional ski from the attachment just above the swim deck. Anyone else pull tubes from there? Any issues?
