  1. Anyone ever use the Sierra 18-8926 impellor in their Centurion? Seems to have good reviews and easy to get, so thought I'd reach out. thanks
  2. Looking for some advice on winterization. Manual says to pull all plugs and let drain. I've read that people then put the plugs back in a d push marine antifreeze through. Is this necessary? New to the surf boat world but can't see paying to have this done. I live in NW Montana and the boat will be inside but cold storage, any advice would be awesome.

  4. Winterization Checklist for 2004 Centurion Enzo SV230 Prior to this boat, I had a direct drive. I winterized each year on my own. Could anyone share their winterization checklists for a V-Drive? Also any information for draining/winterizing ballast. I have been reading some posts about draining the heater as well, but I wasn't sure if my 2004 model had that. Any information would great! Thanks
  5. Hey Guys...Sadly we already need to start thinking about winterizing in Canada. First time winterizing a Centurion. It seems like the heater on my 2014 Enzo FX44 is part of a closed cooling system, with antifreeze in the heater lines. Anyone able to confirm this? Also, has anyone tried to change the oil and the drain line doesn't fit through the hole at the back? Is there a pump available you can thread onto the drain line? Going through the dipstick to drain just doesn't seem like it will get it all out.
  6. I've had inboards all of my life but I just got a new to me 2016 S238 that has the Coastal Edition package/motor. (It was a dealer demo boat with only 27 hours that I had shipped up from TX to IN) As i'm a bit of a newb with the Coastal engine, does anybody have any suggestions or recommendations that I need to do with this engine? I'm not 100% sure exactly what goes on with the water flow in the coastal. I'm used to the normal fresh water intake and cooling. How exactly does this engine function cooling wise? I know it sounds like a simple process, but for the life of me, i cannot find anything on google about how a coastal engine functions. Thanks in advance for any pointers.
  7. First year winterizing a vDrive and I can only find 4 blue drain plugs... I keep reading about 8. What am i missing? (other than 4 drain plugs). Could it be different for different model boats/engines? The four I found are: Thermostat housing one One on the very back of the boat near the sump on the driver side The two lower ones in this pic, no upper one to be found
  8. I have a 2010 avalanche with dual mid-ship hard ballast tanks and am looking for the best way to winterize the ballast tanks. Any tips and tricks would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!
