  1. Conducting mid season maintenance and prepping the boat for sale, changed the Oil, Oil Filter, Fuel Filter, and IAV Valve since it was starting to idle rough on first start up after sitting for a few days. I now have the infamous 2 beeps ever 2-5 minutes, so do i disconnect the batteries and reset to see if code clears? I had the batteries off on the perko switch but not disconnected. I have not take the boat for a quick test run yet just lowered off lift and verified all fluids where correct and it was idling smooth.

  3. Does anybody know where the coolant line is on a 2004 Centurion Enzo SV230? I am winterizing the boat and didn't know if this was the best way to funnel antifreeze into the engine block. Thanks!
  4. Winterization Checklist for 2004 Centurion Enzo SV230 Prior to this boat, I had a direct drive. I winterized each year on my own. Could anyone share their winterization checklists for a V-Drive? Also any information for draining/winterizing ballast. I have been reading some posts about draining the heater as well, but I wasn't sure if my 2004 model had that. Any information would great! Thanks
  5. Guys thinking of upgrading my ballast. I have an 04 Enzo sv230 Currently running factory mid ship ballast which totals about 400lbs. I’m running a 540 in each rear locker and a plug and play 350 in the bow and one surf side. Thoughts on what I should upgrade to? Looking to get a longer wave with a little more push. Tossed around the idea of 2 Enzo sacks but they’re so expensive. If anyone has some they’d like to sell and ship, I can Venmo!? Thanks!
  6. Guys, I am new to the forum as I just bought my first Centurion a couple weeks ago. It is a 2004 Enzo SV230. My current setup is the factory hard tanks under each side of the boat and 2 540 lb bags (one in each rear locker), plus a delta mission surf shaper. Those are all plumbed in. I own 2 350 lb bags that are not plumbed, but can be filled with a separate pump. Any ideas on the best weight set up to create a good surf wave with enough push? I am still struggling with throwing the rope and consistently staying in the pocket. Once I drift back, it is tough to push back forward. I am 6 foot, 180 lbs and riding a 5 foot 4 inch hyperlite broadcast. Any thoughts on a good board for me? I am fairly new to surfing, but have been wakeboarding my entire life. Thanks for all the input.

  8. I have an 07 Enzo SV230 with stock gauges. The temp gauge and volt meter gauges do not register anything. I have checked the wiring on the back of the gauges and they are pin connectors which look to be in good shape. Anyone know where the sensors are for these and how to chick if they are working or not? Thanks in advance for your help.
  9. Hey guys! First post here but I know I’ve come to the right place! It’s finally time I can justify upgrading my boat to something surfable! I’ve been looking around for the past year or so, comparing different options in my price range ($40k-$50k) and have pretty much made up my mind - an Enzo. Tahoe gets gnarly so the deep V will help a lot with that and I’ll take all the freeboard I can get. I don’t always have a big crew, usually only 4-5 people and often a dog or two so I don’t “have” to have the biggest boat but I hate being cramped so I’d like all the room I can get. That being said, I’m wondering which model would work best for Lake Tahoe and also, any features that are must haves or years or features to avoid. Tahoe is at 6,200ft so performance is something to consider. From what I’ve read, the SV230 requires substantially less ballast than the SV240 to get a proper wave. With that in mind am I wrong to assume that the 230 would have better performance with the same engine? Obviously I’ll ensure to prop correctly but I’d like to set myself up for success wherever possible. Ideally, I’d love to find a 244 or 233 as we rarely use our bow and would really enjoy the extra room in the cockpit. Maybe the 233 would be perfect as it should take less weight, and probably has as much cockpit space as the 240? The problem here is that it’s really hard to find a 233 or 244 within my price range. I wish I could just bite off a little more but our season is short and I have a lot of other hobbies competing for my interest. I just really can’t justify it. So, which boat would you recommend? Should I automatically omit any of these with the small engine? Any and all advice is welcomed! Thanks in advance!!
  10. Last year was my first year of boat ownership. I went looking for the best wave for the dollar boat and wound up with a 2006 SV230 for my starter boat. Last year we ran either a mission delta or a Nauticurl with 1100lb bags in the back lockers and the stock 250lb tanks under the seats. I used tsunami pumps to fill the back bags and then would have to dump one into the other when switching from regular to goofy and back. Very time consuming. End result was a decent regular wave and a not so great goofy wave. We had fun, but I wound up on a mission to make the SV230 as close to a higher dollar boat as possible with minimal investment. I started with buying 500lbs of lead. I then purchased the WakeMakers reversible complete ballast system with two ballast king pumps, one for each rear bag that I all ready was using. I also removed the under seat hard tanks and replaced with what WakeMakers recommended, which I seem to recall were 400lb bags and used the stock sprinkler system with those bags. The system fills fast and is awesome. Total game changer. I wish I had timed it last week in Powell but did not. I now had all bags that could be filled and emptied with the flip of a switch, or four switches as the case may be. Next were the Infinity Wave tabs. Shaka suggested I install a double wing plate rather than the often discussed A-plate in conjunction with the tabs so he had one manufactured for me. This replaced my fixed plate. It fit perfectly. I had to have the swim deck raised which required some routering of the deck for the curve, which may be due to some warping of the deck. It was shimmed up about an inch and looks perfect. Tabs were installed and wired to the switches. System looks great and functions even better. Shaka was able to give me some good guidance on the weight distribution but at the end of the day it took a lot of trial and error. First trip out we wound up with a very good and surfable regular wave. After more experimentation we wound up with a great regular wave that was highly adjustable. Goofy wave was more elusive and I again consulted with Shaka for some advice. He said once you get it dialed in you may have a better goofy wave than regular. He was right. Earlier in the week we spend 4 days at Powell and I had ridiculously good waves on BOTH sides. We could surf forever. Here is the weight configuration that worked best: 200lbs lead to the outside of each rear locker (400lbs total). 1100lb bag filled 100% on surf side in rear locker. 1100lb bag at 70% on non-surf side in rear locker Under seat bag filled on surf side and empty on non-surf side. Surf tab deployed on non-surf side and up on surf side. Center double wing tab down slightly, adjust up for steeper and down for longer wave, adjust to taste. Speeds at 10.5 to 11 We had a crew of 4 to 6 with no one weighing over 155lbs. Wave was UNBELIEVABLE on both sides. After two days I could take a look at the wave and make minor adjustments with the tabs to get the wave exactly where I wanted it. Surfer would give me a shorter or steeper and click, I would adjust to exactly what they wanted. To switch sides I only had to drain 30% from one side while simultaneously filling the additional 30% on the other side. Took no time at all. The one weak point was the original pump for the under seat bags. I will be upgrading that this winter. I will try to post some pictures as I get them but they just will not do justice to how great the waves are on both sides and how easy the system is once you figure it out. InfinityWave tabs get two thumbs up and worth every penny spent. I wish I could say that I installed the system myself, but between ridiculously long work days and the lack of work space I had 970 Marine in Grand Junction do the work for me. I had never used them before but my review would not be complete without giving them the highest praise possible for the quality of work done, responsiveness, and attention to detail. If you are on the western slope in Colorado, these guys fantastic.

Original owner, meticulously maintained and operated since I purchased her in August of 2008. Puts out a large, clean surf wave.-330 hp Mercury Black Scorpion with 320 hours. 12. Hello everyone. We are looking at upgrading from our 2005 Moomba Outback to something a bit newer and better set up for surfing. There is a 2009 Enzo SV230 near us, that looks interesting. It seems like this would be a great next boat for us. Question on the ballasts, the add says it has 3,500 lbs plumbed in. Is that the factory system, or does that sound like more ballast than stock? Anything i should be looking at specifically when going to see the boat? Thanks!
  13. We bought my son the Traxxas Spartan and yesterday we jumped the wake of our SV230 for the first time. It's amazing how well these things do in the water! Next time we'll have to weight the boat down and see how it does.
  14. I was having a really hard time finding any information online about the Monster Cargo Bimini so I thought I would post a couple of pictures here for you guys after the install was complete. The medium fit perfectly and the install was straight forward. Even with the 8" Wetsound tower speakers, I am able to stand under the top at 6'2" thanks to the concave design. [ The Gator Step was the same. Straight forward and easy install. It really upgraded the look of the interior too. Now I just need to figure out a replacement for the teak swim deck.
  15. From what I've read online it seems that my 2005 Enzo SV230 has all the symptoms of a failed Idle Air Valve (IAV). It stumbles around idle coming out of gear quite often and sometimes even dies, and the only way to get the engine to start when its hot is to give it neutral throttle. After some reading online I ordered the Standard Motor Products AC423 Idle Air Control Valve of Amazon for $40 (In comparison to the $178 for the OEM Mercruiser 866326) which is supposed to be a direct replacement. Multiple people on Amazon said it worked perfect on their Mercruiser 350 Mag MPI so I figured it should work on mine! Of course when I received the part and went to install it I found a couple things that I'm not so sure about: The original part I removed (assuming it is OEM) does not appear to have a pin and spring in it that the new replacement part has. Anyone know the function of this, or if it is of any concern? The replacement part came with a small rubber gasket that is definitely not correct for this application; it appears as though it should be used in an application that has a machined groove more like an o-ring would have. After searching for the correct gasket online, all I seem to find pictures of is a simple thin sheet style gasket that is cut to the profile of the valve. The gasket I removed from the boat was pretty thick and is overmolded on a mesh screen material. I'm wondering why this screen would be necessary? Does it keep the foam filter (see question #3) from entering the valve? When I searched for the OEM replacement gasket I found that the original P/N 865168 was superseded by 866326... The notable thing here is that the part description of the gasket also changed from "Gasket, Flame Arrestor" to just plain "Gasket". Did they remove the screen from it for the new part? Once I removed the gasket I found a small foam filter (Mercruiser P/N 865266) in the bottom port of the intake air valve adapter body. Anyone know the function of this filter? Any air that is in the intake manifold has already passed through a much finer air filter so I don't understand it's purpose. I ask all these questions because I'm trying to get the boat water ready in time for the 4th, and I'm struggling to find the OEM gasket readily available.
  16. Crew, This is my first post on here as I just purchased a 2008 Enzo SV230. I am looking for help on what maintenance I should do to this boat to get it ready for the year. I am fairly mechanical and would prefer to do what I can myself. I have no maintenance records of the boat, but I do know that it was stored high and dry at a marina and was always regularly maintained by that marina. I have no idea when the impellor was done last or anything like that. Any advice on tools that make these jobs easier, what oils and filters I should be using, what the regular maintenance schedule should be, or even a factory guide would be great. I appreciate any information that anyone would like to come forward with. Thanks, Justin May
  17. I have heard a lot of good things about it's surf wave but none about wakeboard wake. How is it with and without switchblade? And how is the interior quality and fit and finish? thanks
  18. Ok so I added 2 Johnson Ultra Ballast Pumps to rocker switches for my Enzo sacks and installed a manifold so I can have both pumps filling either port or starboard as needed along with the factory Jabsco pump. One pump works flawless and the other is hit or miss, some times it pumps, and it drains for about 30 sec before shutting off. I have new impellers (Orange) in the pumps and for the life of me can't seem to get them to fill and drain as designed. I believe I may need to re-wire the PWR to the switches but wanted to see if anyone else has seen similar results. Plan is to put in new fuse block and run Ballast pumps off new fuse block since the factory wiring is a rats nest under the dash. https://www.bluesea.com/products/5025/ST_Blade_Fuse_Block_-_6_Circuits_with_Negative_Bus_and_Cover
  19. i have recently purchased a 2016 SV230. It has about 60 hrs on the motor and i have gone through 2 fuel relays. The first time was at around 58 hrs and the second time was at 62 hrs. The first time was at the doc so it wasnt too big of a problem. However, yesterday, the boat motor simply died when i was getting in the boat after wake surfing. Being that this has happened to us 2 times now, im wondering if anyone else has experienced a similar issue and how you were able to troubleshoot this problem. I have taken it to the dealer and they cannot find where the issue is coming from. for all i know, it could be a bad ground or a problem with the fuel pump itself.... Thanks!!
  20. As I gear up for winter stereo upgrades, I've decided to do the head unit delete mod and ditch my Kenwood head unit and remotes in hopes it makes it easier for me the driver to connect bluetooth, change volume, etc. I'm going to add the Exile EXMC1 which will fit perfectly where one of my dash mounted remotes are mounted and when I pair it with WS-420BT EQ I should be able to control all 3 zones. Simple enough, but what do I do with my head unit and my swim deck remote? If I remove either, I end up with a hole somewhere. The large original Sony remote had to have a 3.25" mounting hole. Anyone got any ideas to cover them up or install something useful. I'm all ears. Thanks!
  21. Adding interior speakers

I'm looking to do some stereo upgrades in my 05 SV230 this off season. Only having 4 factory interior speakers just isn't cutting it anymore. I've already upgraded the existing speakers to XS-65i but has anyone added any additional speakers to the interior and where have you installed them? Maybe I'm not good at visualizing it but I just can't seem to find a good spot for at least 2 more speakers.
  22. Does anyone know the Centurion part number for an 05 enzo SV230 steering cable? or happen to know which aftermarket one I would need? My steering sucks and my boat driver complains every time I need a boar ride lol. Thanks!
  23. I'm looking into picking myself up a 2007/08 enzo sv230 for the summer. I have fallen in love with wakesurfing over the past couple years and have narrowed down my boat selection. I've been looking into a 2007 that is completely stock I'm pretty sure. To get this boat kicking up a beautiful wave I'm just wondering what modifications I should make. Is it possible to add the two rear factory tanks and bow ballast? Would it be better to just add Enzo sacs in the rear lockers? Also if anyone has any pricing advice and what would be a good deal for this boat please let me know! Cheers!
