  1. When I fill the ballasts on my 2017 Ri217 and set my stinger plate to zero the actuator is still extended 2 to 3 inches. I have replaced the actuator on my stinger tab two times, and my dealer states that it is a faulty actuator. Has anyone else had this issue? I have removed the lower bolt on the actuator and rotated. It clockwise to get it back into the zero position and prior to filling my ballasts. The stinger plate works correctly until the ballasts are filled again, and the same issue keeps occurring. Any thoughts would be appreciated! thanks
  2. Hey all, I own a 2016 RI217 in Hawaii where there are no dealerships that support Centurion and have a question that I cannot find an answer to online or in photos or the manual... Is my CATS fin lower than it is supposed to be? It used to be flush with the boat, and now it is 2-3 inches lower than it used to be and no matter what I do it will turn but not raise/lower. Any photos or information to put my mind at ease is appreciated, thanks so much in advance

  4. 2016 Ri217 courtesy lamps and tower lights flicker with everything off including master key switch. When battery disconnect switch is on, all interior lights continuously flicker. All lights seem to function properly when switched on via touch screen. They must be controlled by a module of some kind . Any help would be appreciated.
  5. I'm I the only one who ended up buying a used Ri217 without CATS? Did I make a big mistake? It seems like I can't produce a surf wave that is comparable to any of the other surf boats out there.

  7. FI21 Questions

Hey guys, This weekend I'm going to checkout a '20 FI21. What is everyone's thoughts on the boat? Have you had experience with it? Wake/waves review? Also wondering if the small size is gonna kill the re-sale value? I personally think the size seems great but I know the wakeboat sweet spot seems to be on the bigger end 23--24ft. Does the 409hp engine sufficiently power it with full ballast? Any thoughts would be much appreciated! Thanks!

  9. Hey crew, anyone interested in a custom built fab-dock for a 217? They are pricey (@ 13.5k) but a really convenient option for those who want to keep her dry while floating but do not have the capacity for a traditional boat lift set up. I have one pre-ordered to float behind our houseboat and should be available for install in about 2-3 weeks (but I won't be able to install it until next Spring). Thought maybe some other 217 owner may have a more immediate use and I would reorder next Spring. DM me if interested and I can send you some photos and the price sheet.
  10. Hey crew, anyone know how to self remedy a warning code for when your intake manifold temp volt is above normal or gas a short high source? Getting a warning code of SPN 105 and FMI 3. Be nice to fix her this weekend if anyone has a solution. Thanks in advance
  11. Could you guys please share your RPM's you guys are running at surf speeds, boat, year, model, ballast. Trying to get a feel of what is good. Currently on my 2015 FS44, listed, PnP rear full, PNP front 70%, RAM 100%x20%, surf 11mph up river and 12 down, I'll run 3300 to 3800 depending on how many peeps even weighted with mission delta WS, rear PnP full, front PNP 70%, both RAM 40% to 65% depending on peeps, RPM's 4100 to 4300.. on both boat will stuggle to keep speed after 8 to 9 peeps. What you are guys at, and what's your thoughts on mine. This may not matter much soon since looking at getting a 2018 Fi or Ri ? this year but I'd like to know what normal is.
  12. Hey I have read a few of you guys/girls have had situation with a ramfill filling and not emptying properly etc and some other "quirks". We had the starboard ram fill full although ballast screen suggested empty and it appears the pump behind the bench seat in engine bay had sprung open and the black retaining clip broke. Also a few times when turning in a slightly tight end of the lake whilst surfing the quick surf tabs get stuck and battery/breaker needs turning off/on to work again. But I believe there might be a factory software update for the Ri's? or is it just the 257? We currently have: Application 2 8 10499 OS 2 8 10100 Bootloader 2 9 10110 Software L 2.8.10518 20161104 R 2.8.1051820161100 Is this the latest?
  13. Here are some pics from this weekend. Thanks COsurf for the awesome camera work.
  14. Crew, have a question for you: Have a trip booked for 1st week of April in the Phoenix area and was planning on dragging my 217 along because honestly, she is new and I don't want to wait until May to surf her (yes a freely admit I have a problem). I got myself to accept the 15 hour tow (round trip) and the fact that I will have to rewinterize her before I stick her back in my shed, but my question is do I need to get a low altitude prop to run her at low elevation? She has an H6 if that factors into the answer. Appreciate any feedback
  15. WWYD?

Dear Crew, was wondering what you would do? Its been hard, but I have limited my search for a new wave to two: Option 1: preorder S226 optioned out, approx 3900 lbs ballast upgrade (pretty sure my dealer is saying he can do a 750 bow sack on top of 1100's in the rear pnp and 1000 factory quickfill for a total of about 3900) fresh off the factory floor, or for about an extra $10k; Option 2: 2016 ri217, seems to have most options except floor upgrade, 4900 lbs ballast. I run mostly 2-4 peeps, and only surf (don't even carry other gear) and both sides religously. I like the fit and feel of the supremes better (seem roomier to me) but wave is most important. Fresh off the floor would be nice vs. sitting for a year on the lot but so would 4900 lbs of ballast. Needless to say I am leaning heavily towards the Ri. So with that said, anyone run a 2016 ri217? Any issues with the new design? Does anyone out there think I should save the dough and go with the s226? Any other feedback? Thanks crew, appreciate the support from my fellow addicts
  16. Hey Guys, Thought people here might like to see the videos that Centurion made in connection with our dealership and Devin SuperTramp. Centurion Ri237: Centurion Ri217: Ramfill Ballast: QuickSurf: SxS Touch Vision Dash: Deep V Hull: Cheers!
  17. So apparently there's been a Centurion dealers meeting held. And apparently there's a new model that nobody had any clue was coming. And apparently, it's an incredibly sexy machine... Big shout out to the folks at Extreme Boatsport for keeping me excited about the brand. I just received these pics and figured that some of you might have an interest. No idea on price yet, but I'm sure you can come to your own conclusion on that. Dark pic, but I think that says RI217... Interior looks rather big for a 21' boat. I'm thinking it's probably just shy of 22'. Anybody got any details on this? Can't wait to see what it can do!
