I love this boat! I ordered it new in April 2013. Took delivery in June 2013. It has spent its entire life making people happy on Chautauqua Lake in Western NY. I keep it on a covered lift for our short summer seasons, and in my heated garage in the 8 1/2 months of winter we get here. It has never spent a night in the water - and it has never been exposed to cold temperatures (I still winterize it just in case of furnace failure, but that's never happened). 260 hours of run time on the motor. I ordered the boat the the following: PCM409 engine WakeSurf Team Package- high altitude prop, computer graphic package, pro ballast package (large ballast system under cockpit benches), P-N-P ballast system (large ballast system in aft lockers), quick fill (under-floor quick fill hard tanks), bow ballast system, Centurion Switch double surf swivel racks IceBreaker Package - heater with blower system, heated driver seat, cockpit wind dam Jazz It Up Package - stainless bling bling package, Daytona windshield, underwater led lights, docking lights Amphitheater III Sound System - includes WetSound SYN4 amp, WetSound SYN2 Amp, WetSound Rev8-C tower speakers, WetSounds AS10 500 watt sub with enclosure plus WetSounds speakers in the bow and cockpit of the boat. Upgraded Trailer Package with swing away tongue and spare tire Custom Deckadence Flooring - This has Centurion Enzo SV-244 logo (apparently this is no longer available). I also have the original snap in carpet. I ordered the Deckadence immediately after delivery - it still looks brand new, and the original carpet is pretty much new. Gladiator Tower with bimini top Why did you pick this boat: I liked a lot of the competitors boats, but the Enzo seemed to work best on Chautauqua Lake. We get decent chop here, and it seems to cut through better than Mastercraft, Nautiques and Malibu. And I really liked the dealer. How do you use the boat: Wakeboarding / surfing weekday evenings and weekend days. It makes an incredible cocktail cruiser for weekend nights. Amphiteater III sound system along with LED lighting seems to get the party started at night. Any issues with the boat: We had a couple of minor warranty issues when we first got it. The adjustable trim insert in the rudder fell out. The company replaced the rudder, and it has been great since. Boat tracks straight. We replaced the ignition switch. I have three very small spots on the upholstery (each about a quarter inch) that should be fixed with a vinyl repair kit. The Lenco trim tab actuator will be replaced. The actuator is stuck in the fully-up position (which is convenient, because we almost never put it down). I will have that taken care of before anyone takes delivery. I will also have the trailer checked out to make sure its ready for someone to drive it home. Why are you selling the boat: I recently purchased a home on the intercoastal waterway in Florida. I plan to buy a 28-32' center console set up for offshore use. This boat has been babied, and I can't bear the thought of bringing it to Florida where it would get beaten up by salt and sun. I'm hoping someone will love it as much as I have.

  6. Start making plans for the 19th of August 2016 This year we are moving the CCC Weekend up to Friday the 19th of August CenturionCrew members, family and friends will begin to descend on Bethy Creek Resort near the town of Riverside, Texas an hour north of Houston. For a weekend of fun on the water, full of Centurion boats and water related activities. Dates for the event were moved up this year per discussions with many of the attendees from last year. Please post on the thread if this causes issues for anyone and we can discuss. Of course the fun of an event like this is that everyone shares their boats, boards and has a blast riding and hanging out with old and new friends. The core group will arrive Friday morning to start setting up for the CCC Weekend. Everyone is welcome to check in when ever they would like and stay as long as they like. Friday - Will be the main arrival day, crew members will check in and get some riding in. That evening CCC will provide an eat and greet meal of sausage wrapped in tortillas along with chips and something sweet. Once everyone has had their fill previous year videos will be shown at the pavilion along with a group fire, giving everyone a chance to meet and put name and faces together. Saturday - Ride Ride Ride and Ride some more, a day full of boat hopping, board swapping, in general spending time and riding with crew members you usually don't get a chance to ride with. Learn some new tricks, try the wake on a different model boat, just get out there and have some fun in the Texas sun. There is a sand bar in front of the resort, the plan is to meet at the sand bar to raft up around 4pm and switch up boards, boats and riders, then head back out for a final session. Crew coming in from out of town can rest assure that they will have a boat to jump in and a board to ride behind, so there is no need to bring any boards if you are flying in for the event. After a full day of riding, dinner will be served by CCC which will consist of something really good that has yet to be decided, including something sweet. After the meal, everyone will gather in the pavilion for music, fun and door prizes. Also, if we can work all the details out, crew members will be able to take hits on the ERC (Endless Ride Cable) 2 tower cable system, boards will be provided or you can use your own. See post below for further information on the cable system which can also be ridden the entire weekend. Sunday - Morning rides depending on your travel plans, there will surely be crew members planning to ride most of the day. So anyone remaining on Sunday will still be able to see some action on the water. For those that are considering flying in from out of town, the Bethy Creek Resort is only 75 miles from IAH (George Bush Intercontinental Airport). There is a chance of talking a local crew member into a ride from the airport or grab the cheapest rental car you can find for the weekend. See post below for directions to the CCC Weekend. If you have any QUESTIONS, Please contact CrewAdmin

  9. My wife and I have deposit on a new Supreme S226 with Supreme's Wake Surfing Championship Package including the Quick Surf System. We like the boat a lot but I had a few questions before we finalize our decision this week. We have 4 kids (11, 8, 6 & 3) two of which wakeboard on our current I/O along with my wife and I, but non of us have wakesurfed yet. Since our kids our young I would like a boat that wake boards and wake surfs really well along with one that will give us enough room for our family and at least one if not two other families on rare occasions. The same dealer we are working with has a S238 as well that we did look at, but it is a bit more expensive and the model he has is in orange and black which my wife does not really like. The S226 is a nice blue with metal flake which she loves. With all that said does the S226 sound like it would be a good fit for my family with room to grow especially as my kids get more involved in both sports. (they are already doing well with wake boarding and have a lot of interest in progressing.) The other question I have is in regards to pricing. The list price on the S226 is $69,900 and I believe the S238 is around $75,000. Are these decent prices for these models? Last questions is in regards to Centurion. I know beginning in 2014 the CATS system was added. Would I be better off trying to find a used Centurion (at least 14+ capacity) rather than one of these 2016 Supremes? Thanks in advance for any guidance you guys can give. I am obviously new to the wake boat life and although my family and I are excited to dive in as you know this is a big, long term investment and we want to make the right decision out of the gate. Thanks again! Dave

  11. I need help from anyone that has tried this or has any ideas. I have a 2008 Centurion Enzo. I actually haven't even put it in the water yet but I had to put the tower down to get it in my garage. I will have to do this every time I put the boat away to fit in my lift. It seems as if I have to unscrew completely four knobs to allow the tower to fold. I know from experience that this is an accident waiting to happen and one of those knobs is going to be dropped and sink to the bottom of the river. Has anyone done any modifications for a quick release set up? I doubt it is possible since the holes are threaded and I don't want anything rattling while moving but I figured this would be the best place to ask. I will post pictures as soon as the boat is on the water and cleaned up. Thanks,

  15. It has been brought to the attention of Fineline Industries, Inc. that occasionally a DrainMaster valve can become stuck during regular operation. Troubleshooting: If you experience the occasional inoperable or "stuck" RAMFILL or QuickFill valve the procedure below is recommended: #1) Ensure your boat is within the recommended service interval for the hours on your engine. Strict compliance with the service schedule ensures that your boat and installed components receive maintenance including inspection & service by a certified dealer. #2) Validate you have the latest version of the Centurion Touch Vision System Software. You can do this with your local dealer, or by accessing the Touch Vision System screen by touching the "Home" button twice to launch the menu, touch "Menu", touch "System Info"; the display will provide you with the version information. Your dealer can validate you are current, or you can call Centurion Boats at 209-384-0255. #3) Access the manual operation point (fixed red key on valve cartridge) and gently articulate the key 1/4 turn. Do not excessively turn the key, as it is only capable of 1 & 3/8 revolutions in either direction. After you have articulated the key 1/4 turn, the gate should be operable in the following functions: fill, drain and Trailer Mode. Given the robust construction of the new valve assembly, new valves are often tight; the break-in procedure requires regular use of standard modes and “Trailer Mode”, and possibly manual articulation of the red key. * Your boat should always be set to "Trailer Mode" when not in water. When you store your boat, on land, or in a lift the boat should always be set to "Trailer Mode” with the gates open. Ensure your gates have been set to "close" before launching or deploying your boat for the next use. Strict compliance with storage procedures and the "Trailer Mode" with open gates is recommended to ensure your boat is operational and within terms of your warranty. For questions, please see your operation manual or contact Centurion Boats at 209-384-0255. * If you do not have keys in your valve cartridge, contact you local dealer immediately or Centurion Boats at 209-384-0255 and a replacement set with be sent via Next Day Air at no charge. 16. There have been inaccurate reports and photographs of a sunken boat related to RAMFILL. There has never been a sunken RAMFILL equipped boat due to RAMFILL technology. The Centurion Boats R&D department has put boats through countless tests and unusual conditions including occasional submerging, for nearly four decades as a marine manufacturer. Our R&D department takes great pride in destructively torture testing boats, so our customers remain safe and protected. We are proud of every photograph of that sunken boat that has been circulated. During normal destructive testing a boat equipped with RAMFILL in 2013 was submerged in controlled conditions. This boat was submerged on local Lake Yosemite during standard testing of a new inspection device. An inspection lid designed as part of the Centurion Boats EcoConscious Program; was being certified with a team assembled by the R&D department. This large inspection lid was intended to provide visual tank inspection for invasive species and/or water. The use of these lids was proven unreliable by this test and, as a result, the inspection lids were abandoned as a possible inspection solution. Confirmation by destructive testing of these innovations is a key part of Centurions development programs. There are times when destructive testing is the only way to certify a boat and Centurion takes this responsibility very seriously. Note: The notice above can be downloaded and printed by clicking HERE
  17. Centurion is fastest growing among towboat brands Merced, CA JUNE 18, 2014; As of March 2014, Centurion Boats posted a 61% increase in sales according to Statistical Surveys Inc., the most reliable source for tracking new boat sales in the United States. In the first quarter, Centurion posted the highest percent increase among all towboat brands and a full 6% ahead of the next closest competitor. Bryan Holland, Vice President of Worldwide Sales said, “We are very pleased with our sales team’s efforts but the innovations in the 2014 product have made it easier than ever to get new boats placed. The CATS and RAMFILL systems have consumers and dealers alike clamoring for more information about Centurion. It’s a real testament to the high-quality production and significant innovations Centurion is offering now.” As the economy recovers and the people everywhere are beginning to see their personal wealth increase, Centurion, traditionally a smaller market-share holder, is poised for big growth. Bryan Holland went on to say, “We have been opening new dealerships everywhere. It seems like high value dealers are starting to figure out that the towboat business is a good business. Also, this model year we were the first to offer a five-year warranty, something that only one other boat builder is currently doing. This has helped us close a lot deals because it shows the customer that Centurion is ready to back the boat 100% allowing the purchaser peace of mind they’ve never had before.” In the 2014 model year, Centurion reintroduced two impressive innovations. The first was called CATS for Centurion Articulating Tracking System. The CATS system allows the operator to deflect the bow slightly changing the position of the hull for precise displacement providing adjustability and wake shaping. For the first time in wakeboarding towboat history, wakes can be cleaned up instantly without moving people, gear or ballast. For wake surfing, complete control of the face of the wave, direction of power and overall wave shaping is now possible. The second innovation is RAMFILL technology boasting the largest capacity ballast in the industry and the quickest filling system without pumps or sacs. This technology leaves more time for watersports and less time for fidgeting with one’s boat. RAMFILL has been raved about all over the world. Corey Marotta, Vice President of Sales & Marketing of Alliance Multimedia said “RAMFILL is the most efficient way to put a massive amount of water in the quickest time frame to date.” Todd Gaughan, Vice President of Marketing for Centurion said, “Whether you’re a wake surfer, wakeboarder or slalom skier, our R&D team has done an outstanding job producing the best boat in the watersports category. Slalom skiers everywhere regard the Carbon Pro as the very best tournament towboat and now the FX and SV series are getting the same reviews for wake surfing and wakeboarding fans. It’s an exciting time to be with Centurion and the sales report puts an exclamation point on it!” Statistical Surveys, Inc. was founded in 1958 to produce market share data reports for the marine, manufactured housing and recreational vehicle industries. Statistical Surveys specializes in continuously gathering and cleansing new retail registration data and providing clients with up-to-date insights on buyer behavior through a comprehensive suite of market data products and services. Statistical Surveys is based in Grand Rapids, Michigan and its mission statement is simple: They are dedicated to compiling the most accurate data for customers in the most efficient and timely manner possible. 19. CENTURION UNVEILS A WAKE SURFING CENTER CONSOLE BOAT Merced, CA, Sept 6, 2013; With the much anticipated FX44 release in plain view, the entire wake industry was in awe as Centurion unveiled the CX44, a new concept boat that was introduced to the market at Surf Expo today. The all new CX44 merges the Centurion performance luxury line with the ultimate wake surfing technology of the proven FX hull. The CX44 is Centurion's first sport specific center console boat that places the cockpit squarely in the center of the boat maximizing space and seating capacity, something that was unsuccessfully attempted by another manufacturer only once before. With the added innovations of Centurion's RAMFILL and CATS technology, the CX44 is poised to overtake the watersports market. The CX44 makes a dominate statement in Centurion's commitment to wake surfing. The CX44 was built on the hugely successful, FX hull that was introduced in 2012. As Surf Expo's largest exhibitor, Centurion held a grand unveiling in front of 130 dealers and thousands of Expo attendees just one day after its largest dealer meeting ever. Standing tall next to the SV244, SS210, CX44, and Carbon Pro was the all new FX44, Centurion's larger version of it's popular FX22 that was released last year. The Centurion Boats booth boasts a show leading seven models and held a crowd of industry press, dealers, athletes, and spectators in awe as Centurion's president Rick Lee, also known as the reigning King of Wake Surf boat design, reminded the industry that Centurion builds wake surf boats that are wakeboard capable, not wakeboard boats that can also be used to wake surf. Before the spectacle was over the campaign rang true - no sacs, no pumps, no bolt-on, no BS! * * * * About Centurion: Centurion Boats is most recognized as the first boat company to produce a dedicated wake surfing boat and with its Enzo SV244 model, Centurion remains at the top-of-the-class in this space. In addition to world-class wake surfing boats, Centurion has been a pioneer in wakeboarding and slalom ski boat technology. Centurion held the first World Wake Surfing Championship in 1995, an event that has grown to become the world’s largest, annual, premier wake surfing event. Rick Lee, Centurion’s founder, is credited with being the first to utilize a v-drive transmission for water sports towboats in the mid 1990’s, something that’s common for all towboats today. 22. So I'm having some issues getting my 2000 Eclipse to crank over and start. I think it may be the NSS since I'm not losing power across the dash and the fuel pump and solenoid make their typical sounds. The problem is that the engine won't kick over when it's in neutral, but when I jiggle the throttle controls it tries to crank before, what seems like, the electrical contact is broken during the jiggling action. I assume it's the NSS or alignment issues with my shift and throttle cables. My questions are... On a 2000 Eclipse, is the NSS located behind the throttle/shifter control set or at the trans? How do I test to verify the NSS is the problem? What is the best way to make certain the throttle and shift cables are adjusted correctly? I have to assume that I'm dealing with original cables and switches, so I fully expect them to be worn and dying. I'm very mechanical and confident I can fix the problems if I have a little background before jumping in... Thanks for any help you guys may be able to lend me.
  23. Hello everyone, New to the forum and been around boating my whole life. Havent been doing a whole lot of it the last few years however. I am only 24 but would love more than anything to purchase a used like 06' Centurion Air Warrior Elite V C4. There actually is yellow one right now for sale in my area (Boise) however they want like $30,000 or somewhere in there. I dont think I am in any place at the moment to be purchasing a boat anyhow. My parents have an 06 Reinell 20'-21' inboard/outboard with a tower and such that is a good time to get out on, but it is no V drive machine! I guess ultimately I signed up here because I like Centurion boats and want to learn more about them with the hope of purchasing one in the future. Also I do get fairly confused on the packages. Anyway I'll be a lurkin'!
