  1. so I want to pick up 1000 pounds of lead bags, when I was in Utah i saw some, they were 50 pound bags at a cost of $60 each, the only problem is it's a 4 Hour Drive for me to go back and get some, I was wondering if anybody knew can these be ordered directly from the manufacture and freighted a home address , any information on this would be very appreciated, thank you
  2. In the various upgrade threads I've been reading I haven't found anything that answered these questions. The Avy and the Tige 24V are the two possible boats that I'm looking to upgrade to next, and I know the older versions of either of these boats (I'd be buying 2003-2005ish to stay in my price range) have small ballast systems stock. With this in mind, I came across an '03 Avy ad the other day and looking closer at the stock ballast drain location on the starboard side it seems that the 3 exit holes are really close together. If I was going with an aerator pump upgrade instead of switching to an impeller system, is it possible to enlarge those drain holes to support a bigger pump and hose or are they too close together for that? Additionally, would it just be plug-and-play to swap in new bigger pumps and hoses re-using the stock switches or are electrical upgrades needed to support that as well? I'd be wanting to go with Rule 17A (3700gph) pumps to fill the Enzo sacks that would be installed.
  3. We have a 2017 Supreme 226 and looking to upgrade the bags to the biggest that the rear lockers will hold without having to do the wall supports. I'm not at the boat and I'm wondering if anyone knows the rear port and starboard locker dimensions? By my memory, it looked like it was 40 inches long x 36 tall by 24 wide. I could be way wrong with those numbers though. Thanks in advance.
  4. Good Morning, New to the site. Was wondering if anyone ever saw this error when emptying the quickfill . Any input would be appreciated.
  5. I have a 2010 Enzo (SV 240), and I’ve traditionally listed the boat and gotten a killer port-side wave, but I could never get a good goofy wave. So I have been trying the Mission Delta, and I need help. I tried the Delta with all of the weight evenly distributed, but found that the device works better on my boat with some listing. With listing, I can get a pretty good goofy wave but I need to go 13.6 mph to get the wave to clean up. It’s long, but I have to be full-throttle on the surfboard to keep up with the wave. My regular-side wave shapes up nicely at 11.2 mph. Questions: Has anyone had great success surfing the goofy side using the Delta (assuming you have an Enzo with the standard prop rotation)? If so, how do you set the boat up? Have you found more luck with one of the other suction cup devices? Do you put lead in the rear storage compartments (I used to do this before I started trying the Delta) Do you have any photos of your wave? Here’s my setup to surf the goofy side: Bow: 590 lbs (350lbs sac and 240lbs lead evenly distributed) Center tank: full Rear storage: 1400lb Enzo sacks on each side – 100% full on goofy (starboard) side, 70% full on port side. Listing weight: 720 lbs lead on goofy side (360lbs on rear seat on goofy side, 360lbs lead behind driver’s seat) Thanks!
  6. Buying ready made ballast bags was definitely an option but the price of getting 400 lbs shipped to Canada plus the US $ exchange rate was causing grief. I managed to round up a 4 pails of used tire weights (aprox 350 lbs) from a friendly tire shop In my quest I stumbled across photography sand bags on Amazon. Zip lock freezer bags, used tire weights, and some photography sand bags is all that was required to make some homemade lead ballast bags. The sand bags were rated for 20 lbs each, but easily handle all the tire weights I can stuff inside the doubled up freezer bag zipped up inside the sand bags. Each canvas bag ended up at 31 lbs.
  7. I just bought an 06' Elite V. It has the stock tank in the floor and it came with some non-plumbed 900 sumo sacks. I want to automate the fill with switches & I'm wondering what the best set up might be. A buddy told me that it would be best to go with the more pricey two-way pump (one for each locker). Thoughts? I'm also curious if I can splice off the existing water intake for the hard tank to pull in water, or if I need to put another hole in the hull (yikes). Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
  8. Just bought my first Centurion loving it been working on making the best wake surf I can any pointers on amount of weight on port side and recomendation on locations of the weights i have a 1200 pound in the back corner should I add some weight in the front or under the seats?
  9. Has anyone had issues with their quickfill tank leaking? I've had water in my boat under the starboard passenger compartment and under the drivers seat every session. It's not just a little water either, its enough that I have to pull out the wet/dry vac to get all the water out so it can dry in a reasonable amount of time. I figured out that it was coming from what I assume is the vent out of the top of the QF tank just underneath the drivers seat. What I can't figure out is why water is coming up through the vent hole and into the hose while surfing. I figure I'll probably try to pull the hose off and add some silicone sealer and then replace the hose and clamp, see if that works. I'm really hoping its not a bigger problem than that. Has anyone else had this happen or have any ideas about fixing the problem? Thanks
  10. Hey everyone. I'm new to the forum, but am very familiar to boating and wakeboats. I sold my jet boat, as I've caught the wakesurfing bug, and want to get into an early 2000s Centurion. From what I can see online, there are a couple different models that Centurion made in the early 2000s: Elite-V, Air Warrior, and a few others. If anyone can help answer my questions, it'd be greatly appreciated! Is there a hull that does best for wakesurfing? The Elite-V appears to be the best route to go. How much ballast can each rear compartment hold. Whether it's an air warrior elite-v or not, I'd likely replace the tanks with soft bags to get more in. Did the Elite-V hull change a certain year? I'm really thinking a 2000 - 2002 would be great. Anything I am missing about these boats? **I tried searching and came up short on model year differences**
  11. Hey everyone, 1st post here. I just purchased a 2015 s226 (leftover demo, 12 hrs). I pick it up next Wednesday or Friday depending on my work schedule. I'm already looking at ballast upgrades. What's up with Wakemakers? I've ordered from them years ago and service was great and I'm sure it still is but everything I'm looking at is backordered or not offered. They have tank buster ballast systems for both the s21 and s238 (both backordered) but nothing for s226. Maybe these are all the same but wouldn't think so. So, what gives? Also, even if they had them, they are EXPENSIVE ($1,200) compared to the jumbo v-drive sac ($380 for 2). I don't see any gain in the bag buster kits vs the jumbo V-drive sacs. Only adding 865 lbs vs the 1100 lbs with the jumbos. Why so expensive? Am I missing something? What sacs or ballast upgrades should I go with? Sounds like I need to get 500 lbs of steel pellet bags to move around based on what I've read so far but what else?
  12. I need an owners manual for my 2001 Elite Bowrider! Does any one know where/how to get one? The only link I found online wasn't valid and didn't see anything on the centurion or fineline to sites. Also, the previous owner disconnected the factory ballast and it looks as if he may have a discarded the "empty" pump. I'm not sure of the lay-out of the plumbing/pumps with out the manual or schematics. Any help on this is appreciated. I'm wondering if, since I have the factory ballast out, should I upgrade it with after market ballast? We wakeboard and are going to learn to surf this summer. Suggestions on ballast set-ups are appreciated. Thanks, John
  13. I have a 2012 enzo sv244. How can I tell if my quickfill ballasts are working? I have a feeling that they are sticking? Sometimes my provison ii shows inconsistent levels. Anyway to check them while the boat is in the water?
  14. I'm upgrading my ballast system and going to utilized factory ballast puppy as a reversible pump. The factory switch only has 5 pins on the back instead of 7 like my new switch for new pump. I can't find any wiring diagrams for 5 pin carling switch. Will I be able to use this switch or will I have to have another new switch to make it work right?
  15. Everyone, Will post pics this weekend. I live on a river that fluctuates between 10-15 feet where we surf. We can tell a huge difference when we hit a shallower spot. Right now, our standard setup is a 2008 Enzo with 3-4 people in the back of the boat with an enzo sac filled. I've tried adding bags on the seats but hate having ballast showing. I've read a lot about assymetrical plates but don't want to do anything that will affect the boat at all speeds as we like to wakeboard and slalom behind the boat as well. Starboard side still has stock, hard tank. Any advice for getting the wave better. It's certainly better than our 1997 MC with fat sacs but there are way too many great pictures and videos here of long waves with tons of push to not be jealous. Second question: what upgrades do you suggest: it has a tower (no speakers which I am OK with) and standard stereo system, PP, ballast puppy pump sac and extra small pumps to increase speed of emptying the ballast. The ballast takes about 10-15 minutes to fill completely. Fuel gauge is not working and the floor above the tank is screwed in (I can't believe they didn't use bolts!!!) so that is my next project to fix. I don't like the tower, takes at least 2 people and blocks the side of the boat for getting on and off at the lift. Lot's of info here but I am sure everyone can agree that as soon as you buy a boat, you want to make it absolutely perfect! Thanks in advance!
  16. Wondering if anyone has any suggestions on how to speed up the draining of the plug and play bags on a 2015 210. Mine fill in six minutes or so but I now have the drain times at twelve minutes and they still have about a quarter of the water left in them when it runs down to zero on the micro touch. My next thought was to crank the drain time up to twenty minutes and see how long it takes to drain completely. Just seems like a very slow drain process. Appreciate any suggestions. I'm new to this so could be something I'm doing wrong.
  17. Hi - I have a brand new Enzo SS210 and just got back from using it this weekend. Three issues arose. I was wondering if anyone has experienced anything similar: 1) When filled @ 100%, the rear starboard ballast completely busted off the wood lockers / partitions that protect it from hitting the engine. The metal track rail which helps house the wood partitions was completely broken off, and the switch locks on the partitions themselves became bent, making it near impossible for them to be locked back in place properly. No foul play was involved and this was only the 3rd time using this ballast. 2) There appears to be a battery draw and we've had to jump the boat before launching in the water a few times now. We've made sure all lights and systems are shut off before taking it out of the water; however we still ran into this issue last weekend. 3) The stereo shuts off if the boat is fully powered on (even when key is turned to ACC). Any insight into the genesis of these issues and potential solutions would be helpful. Thanks!
  18. Looking for advice on getting the best wakeboarding wake. I like steep, hard wake as far as shape goes. Current Setup: 2004 Avalanche C4 (350 Mag) Dual 800# sacs in the rear Stock center tank 250# About 400-500# in the bow 911 prop Running 23.7 MPH Wake is pretty good but I'm wondering if any changes would make it better. Specifically, do I have too much in the bow? I've heard Avys don't need much bow weight. Should I add more in the rear? Or would adding a sac on top of the floor over the center tank help to make the wake more firm? Any help is much appreciated.
  19. Long time lookielou, first time Centurion owner; went on a 240 last year and the wake blew my mind. Currently, the boat has factory ballast, tabs, but no switchblade. I want to begin my upgrades as soon as possible. Those of you with this boat, what is the ideal ballast setup? My goal is to create the most push possible (our riders will be up to 6'8" 265 lbs), even if this means a reduction in wave length. I plan to have a custom sac installed to max out the port side rear and underseat storage, but what else should I do? Is there anything to be weary of in installing such a large ballast (damage to compartment, to sideswipe exhaust, etc.) Is additional weight on the goofy side necessary beyond the 500 lbs in the factory tanks (assuming we don't intend to surf that side?) I understand additional weight in the back is good to a point, but them may become counterproductive. Will additional port side weight be beneficial beyond the max custom sac (I will not be sure how much weight will be added by the custom sac until I take measurments, but I imagine it will be between 1600-1800 lbs. If additional portside weight is beneficial, where do you put it and in what form (just on top of the seats, etc.)? Sorry to ask such a basic, new-ish question, but there it is I understand that fill times for a custom sac are about 30 mins unless you make rather significant changes to the intakes (caused by, as I understand it, a combination of impeller rates and the sprinkler-style setup). Are there any simple impeller pump upgrades that materially shorten fill times? Before I cut holes into the boat, I want to check Answers to any of these, or even just what you found to be the best setup, would be sincerely appreciated.
  20. Sorry if these seem like stupid questions but can someone help me out to better understand what the best way is to set the timers for ballast fill and drain on the micro touch system? I had our 210 out for the first time on the weekend and the port plug and play filled and drained (to the point where it was sucked dry) really well but the starboard side only drained about 60% with the same timer setting (and the screen was showing it was completely drained). Could it be that I stopped the engine during draining and it maybe threw things off? When this happens and the screen is showing a ballast is completely empty but isn't, what's the best way to then drain them? Does it matter if you're moving when filling or draining the ballast bags? Also, do these pumps shut off automatically if they run dry? With the timer settings from factory, it sucked some of the bags so dry they looked vacuum packed! Just don't want to burn out a pump. Last question is I heard that some guys spray the open/close quick fill valves with lubricant. What is best to use and how often should this be done? Thanks.
  21. Don't know if anyone cares, but as of this week Wakemakers are offering 1" NPT ports on custom ballast bags . This is what they told me: "We use a 1" Dry Lok port that is a 1" NPT port. Some other manufactures had issues with 1" ports leaking so we designed a 1" flange with a base and O ring at the end of the extended threads to eliminate any possibility of leaking" Sounds pretty solid! For anyone with multiple Johnsons feeding 1" lines like me, we can finally get full flow without the 3/4" bottleneck or taking multiple ports! I ordered a custom bag with these yesterday! I don't know why they're not telling anyone on their website, but if you email them they'll hook you up.
  22. As we have progressed dialing in my 14 enzosv233 I have noticed I have lost my hard lip coming off the back of the boat. we have great push and can easily surf 20ft back. I just think it should be standing up steeper off the platform. Any suggestions setup Port ram full, 450sac in hatch, 450 in seat bow 20% port we run between 30 an 50% in ram cats at 90 tab between 5 and 30 with a crew of 4 around 190 each
  23. some of you have read my post of the trouble ive been having with my new sv233. we will recap bfore i ask my questions. 1 month late due to ramfill recall ramfill has not worked yet. taking it back today for the third time. paint defect. pAINT is coming off in 5 spots. they said they would compound wax it, but that doesnt sound like a good plan. 343 does not cut it. it will barely pull you out of water with boat loaded with people. those are the major issues radio volume spontaniously goes up until it overloads and shuts off paid for all sound system upgrades and it sounds like crap for the money i spent. i did not know that you loose 2 cabin speakers by going with ramfill. you really need those speakers. all i can hear is the tower speakers. glove box will not stay closed. have adjusted twice. upgraded board racks will not hold wakeboards. they fall out. something wrong with bimini. i think dealer asssembled it wrong, but he says he didnt. loose, crooked, andwont stay expanded. it flaps in the wind. boat was shipped without t handles for e shut offs. shipped without motor compartment lug to secure it. it rattles fiercely shipped without one of the dive platform bolts. first time i used it i thought the boat was falling apart it shook so bad. guys, im trying real hard not to get angry over all this, but it is had. i know what i want, but dont know if im justified in asking. i paid over 80k for a boat that has serious problems. my confidence is low that this will be fixed. i think this will be reacuriing problems. ive got a 5 year warranty, but i dont want to take it to the dealer every 2 weeks and not enjoy my investment. ive got 50 hr on boat and have only enjoyed 6 of them. thats a lot of wasted fuel and time. what do you think? i want my boat replaced with one without ramfill with a quality paint job and a bigger motor. my dealer has been very good but im ready to take this to the next step. he doesnt know that i want it repleced yet. he just keeps telling me he will take care of the problems. ???????
  24. Hi Where can I find the ballast water capacity table for this boat equipped with the WWSC package ? RAMFIL – starboard RAMFIL – Port PRO Starboard PRO Port BOW PNP Port PNP Starboard
  25. Brand new here. Just brought our new "used" 2011 Enzo 240+ home two days ago. I have a lot to learn about this boat. Been boating all my life but this is a different animal . The main ballast pump won't run. I inspected the impeller and it was in backwards from what I believe is correct. But that is a minor issue. It doesn't seem to energize or run. Question is, how do I find a wiring schematic on this, is there circuit protection other than the main panel under the dash. Something obvious I'm missing like a switch that needs to be on aside from the battery? Tried with the engine running too, and no luck. Thanks guys.
