Curtesy interior lights not working

I have an 07 Air Warrior Elete. I was checking the interior light wiring to add an underwater light. I used a multi meter on the wires thinking I had it on hot and ground. I heard a pop and now the lights don't work. I can't find a fuse that's blown. Any ideas.
