  1. LED Lights

Can't post pics right now as its in storage now but the lights look weak when we go night surfing compared to other boats I've seen out. Do we know the factory lumens vs. after market?
  2. LED Lights

Guys, I'm thinking about upgrading the transom lights on my 2012 centurion Enzo 240 plus. I bought it used and I can't tell if the LED lights are burnt out/weak or if the manufacturer lights are just really low lumens? I'm thinking about replacing with these? http://www.bluewolfinc.com/lifeform-6-underwater-led-light/ Or should I just get factory replacement LEDs. Thoughts?
  3. That's right. Those two did the unthinkable. They stood behind their product. I had a big problem with my new boat - engine failure. A brand new Centurion Enzo 240+ and then boom. I was furious. As you can imagine, I was not the world's best customer. Paul Gregoire (the top guy at Bakes Marine) managed the whole thing. And he had to deal with an impatient, angry customer. He quickly and calmly worked through PCM Engines to get my engine shipped across the country. PCM quickly worked to review what happened and then shipped me a new engine! Paul and the amazing team at Bakes quickly got that new engine back in my boat and had me back on the water. This could have been a slow, bureaucratic, painful process but thanks to Paul at Bakes and the amazing support from PCM the summer is saved. Thank you Bakes Marine and Thank you PCM Engines! And special thanks to Jeff Page who helped smooth out some of the bumps. It's rare to see companies who are focused on customer service. I'm so happy I have these two on my team. -Dave Mendlen
  4. Naked or Tattooed?

Don, You have to go naked!
  5. Tower Lights for Gladiator Tower?

These lights are 10W and 12W. That doesn't seem very bright? What are most tower lights in terms of brightness/wattage? Anyone know what the factory lights are on the new Centurions and how bright they are?
  6. Has anyone come across a great aftermarket solution for adding tower lights to the Centurion Gladiator Tower? Help?
  7. Stopped in Olinger Marine Today

This was VERY consistent with my experience with Olinger Marine - I bought a boat from him and then I had all kinds of problems with them. I'm sure plenty of folks have had good experiences with Olinger. BUT... My experience was not good. I would definitely recommend NOT buying from them based on my experience and it sounds like I am not alone. I'd strongly encourage folks to look for another boat dealer.
  8. Recently I've been upgrading the heck out of my 2003 Typhoon with all the latest bells and whistles (underwater lights, heater, etc). I am envious of the 2010 and 2011 Pro Vision Dash. Is it possible to put that in my boat? Anyone know? -Dave
  9. I'm thinking about picking up a couple of these but wondering if folks have them? Like them? If not, what do folks use? -Dave
  10. WakeSurf Rack Finger Plates

Are you selling these? I need replacements. -Dave
  11. Need New Cover Bad

http://www.evolutioncovers.com/ They are the BEST. Perfect, custom cover. There is none better.
  12. Olinger Marine

The speedometer didn't work. The Trim Tab didn't work. Lights didn't work. The list goes on. We're still trying to unwind all of the damage - speedometer still doesn't work, trim tab is hit or miss. It's a shame. The "mechanic" just messed up everything. Also, the pictures that were taken and posted on the site showed the boat but didn't show some of the scratches, etc. After I purchased the boat, all of the other shots showed up on the site including those that showed the issues. I thought that was a bit shady.
  13. Olinger Marine

I had a very bad experience with Olinger. The couple that run the place seemed very nice. They helped me through the purchase process and delivered the boat to me from Idaho to Washington. They sent me the title and everything was fine until I took the boat to get checked at a local dealer and to get it ready for winterization. It turns out that the mechanic at Olinger when putting in the stereo (that I asked Olinger to install before delivering) had completely screwed up the electrical system. It was a mess. In addition, the "custom cover" that Olinger sold me was little more than a super expensive tent. On top of that the boat got damaged in delivery. When I called Olinger to ask for some compensation they freaked out and told me that I should have asked them to drive out to fix it and because I didn't they refused to pay for any of the damages. It never occurred to me to call for service in another state. The conversation quickly devolved to threats to legal proceedings. It started out positively but ended very badly.
