  1. Perfect Pass

ladderrat, No didn't need any liquid courage. Wanted the hole to be straight! I drilled a pilot hole from the top or inside the hull. Then went under and masked it off. Ran the bigger pilot drill bit of the hole saw in the forward position right up until the teeth of the hole saw were going to touch. Then I pulled the drill out of the hole set it to go in reverse and drilled the first part going backwards until I felt it was through the gel coat. Pulled it back out switched rotation to normal and drove it home!! It couldn't have come out any better!
  2. Pro-Flight. I like it!!!
  3. Perfect Pass

Get ahold of Ian at Only inboards. He will set you up. Great customer service and I recieved it in 3 days after ordering. I won't say specifically what the cost was but will tell you that it was definatley cheaper then a dealer. I will say about $355.00 cheaper. The only reason I don't want to say what the price was publicly is out of respect to Ian and Only Inboards incase of a price change or something. If you want to pm me I'll tell ya.
  4. Kevdawg62, Yes Perfect Pass uses the paddle wheel for speed and on some boats it gives you the water temp. On my Elite it does. Mine came with the depth gauge alreay installed but with out the transducer. I installed a thru the hull transducer and it works great. Even at speed. The paddle wheel will not however give you depth as far as I know, or the ones I've seen haven't.
  5. Perfect Pass

Well as of last weekend I was able to finish the PP install. The hole through the bottom of my baby went great. It looked factory. A nice perfect non chipped 2" hole through the bottom. Took the boat out Sunday and all I can say is PP is awesome!! Well worth the money. The important thing is Momma pulled me and SHE loved it and said it was worth it!
  6. Perfect Pass

Thank's guys for the responses. I have talked to PP and they are great! They gave me some general spots, but I want to be sure here. This is my baby after all . Like I think I will tape the exterior and run the hole saw backwards so I don't screw up the gel coat . I tried getting ahold of Centurions tech support but the guy that handles that part was out today. I will try tomarrow as well. I don't have a video camera any more but will try to take pics. Matt
  7. No just some very poor pics off my cell phone. I told my wife we should grab the camera on the way out, but we didn't!
  8. Perfect Pass

Ahh, yes the hole saw will be out! Not real wild about that part!
  9. Perfect Pass

No sorry it's a '99. I should have added that fact.
  10. I'm with Ya. We were out at Hogan Sunday. Water was cool, but doable with just shorts on. Although it did take me about 15 minutes to get in . Our Son wake boarded for the first time. He got up the first time he tried it! Must have been my instrutions ! I'm still sun burned on my back and shoulders. Come on Summer!!!!
  11. Well I just pulled the trigger and ordered Perfect Pass fron Ian at Only Inboards . Should have it Friday. So now my question is where should the paddle wheel be mounted on my Elite V? Thank's in advance! Matt
  12. I have been TALKED to about this before . I never have changed them and have never been hasseled since. Probably depends on the day and the officer. By the way they look awesome. I'd say go for it!
  13. New boat

D-90'S not in Texas. Thats Mossdale boats in the background! He must be somewhere by me.
  14. steering cable

Got the new steering cable in last night. What a difference! Nice! It went right in by myself with no other help. I can't believe how easy it was. I'll finish it today and do some cleaning as well. Also might check on doing some of the LED lighting that has been discussed. Man the more I look underneath this boat the more I'm impressed with Centurions quality and detail. Thank's agin guys for the advice and help!.
  15. steering cable

Thank's guys. Some very good ideas! I had thought about soaking the cable but was told not to waste my time. Looks like I should have tried it anyway, oh well! Yes K_B_ I have to do the two handed thing for sure. Can't wait to get it in!!!
