So it’s happened a couple times now over the summer, but today alone it happened 5-6 times.... someone would fall while surfing and as I’d come to a stop or letting off the throttle to turn around, the engine would just die. Twice was when I was just sitting at idle ready to take off. Anyone else have this happen or know what it could be?

I bought my zs232 from a guy that lives up there. He bought from sunny side marina in balsam lake.... I think that’s the spelling. But yeah he ordered a new one as well. Brandon Renard, maybe you know him?

I bought my 238 at 29k under msrp. Was at 103k and took it home for 74k otd.... that doesn’t sound like much of a deal to me on yours. You can find a year old model for 30% under which is avg. as you build a relationship with the dealer they will take care if you better. If they don’t, I’d find a new dealer. From the sounds of it, I don’t think they’re the best option

Sounds like a lemon to me. But I think the bigger problem is that you spent 90k on an s211! You can get a zs232 for Just about that! Unfortunately my buddy had tiges’ for the lAst 6 years, buying new every other year.... this last one he got has had more issues and shop time than any boat I’ve heard of. It’s rare but it happens. Supreme is an excellent product! Just sounds like you got a bad one and the shaft by your dealership

How much you looking to spend?

What boat are you in? As far as the stinger plate, that’s part of your issue. Use weight to bring the nose down and the stinger to adjust wash and length.

What is your set up? And I’m usually around 11.2-11.4

Have to call your dealer and give them you vin and they’ll get a replacement from supreme.

I have upgraded to sumo 1000’s in my rear lockers with 150 lbs in lead in the back corners under the bags, fatsac 260’s under each bench with 50 lbs of lead in the back of those, another 200 lbs of lead I place on the surf side in the corner on the bench, and then people are placed center and surf side. I have all my rear and center tanks/bags full with 30% in front. Goofy I have stinger at 30% and tab at 85%. Regular I have stinger at 70% with tab at 90%

Wow that’s a lot of lead! Why some much lead and not upgraded and added bags? What bags are in your lockers and where’s your lead placed? Also what are you filling and not filling? What are your tabs and stinger set at?

Yeah mine is starting to do the same thing. I’ll ask while I’m at the dealer today.

Ok so I’m wondering which is better in a specific situation. Both boats built to the same spec as far as options, both have ballast max, and 5 people. Everyone says “there’s no replacement for displacement “ right....? So in a sense the 23’ theoretically should have a bigger better wave. Yet I also hear, “ a bigger boat needs more weight to be able to set the hull further in the water”. So with that statement, theoretically the 21’ would have a better wave.... so which is it? Or am I missing something?

Another issue and only happens randomly, but the radio will freeze up and no buttons will work. Can’t turn volume up or down, can’t mute, can’t change source, nothing! Tried turning the radio power off and on, the boat off and on, pushing every button and nothing. Then minutes or hours later it decides to work..... any ideas or fixes?

Hey guys so I’ve come into some medical issues and will be down and out for 12-15 months. Because of that I’m going to be selling my 17’ S238 I purchased in June of 2018 and has 84 hours on it with just over 4000 lbs of ballast. With that said around boat show season next year I’m either going to order a 20’ or maybe find a great deal on a 19’. We usually only have 5 people so looking to downsize which is why I’m asking on the 21-22 footers. We only surf and don’t really care about all the bells and whistles, but wouldn’t mind a few more than the supreme side offers. I really like the zs but hate the little screen and would like the rear sliding seat. Any input would be great as I’ll be doing a lot of research over the next year give or take. Thanks!

And so far I’m leaning towards the Fi. Would going down to a smaller boat really affect the surf wave that much? I mean I had to put a lot of weight in the 238 to get a great wave. I understand that a bigger hull will need more weight, but the 23’-24’ boats seem to be the number one choice for surfing.....

I’m selling my Hyperlite quad 59. Idk what size you are and what size the blender was, but this is a 59. I bought it wanting to try more of a surf style ride and it was fun but not my thing. I’m just love skim style. It’s definitely a thinker board. You can ride two fins for a looser feel or four and it sticks n drives forward. If you like the thruster style I recommend Phase Five model x or fireball.

Well congratulations on the purchase! I love mine for sure. Definitely upgrade the bags to the 1000’s or 1100’s. I recommend the thousands as most I’ve read on the 1100’s is you have to reinforce the panels and cup holders.... also get at least 600 lbs of lead or sacks for under the benches. If not both if you can. As far as wave size, yeah we definitely get a better wave in the dealer sections of the river. Avg is about 15’ for us. With fills times, it’s about 8 minutes total and the river is almost always mellow where we go. Most day there’s probably about 7-8 other boats and randomly some more people that just come to check out the area, but if you go to the other end it’s pretty packed. That’s where the beach is and party cove. I’m planning on heading up into Wisconsin this season a few time by lake Geneva. Not sure how far that is from you but it’s a good weekend getaway spot.

I’ve tried resizing pics but still can’t figure it out! Wish admin could get it to be able to just upload pics and we need to get more content on here! Supreme doesn’t do much marketing or social media. Not knocking the site just wish there was more supreme stuff, updated info, and more user friendly as I’m technologically slow lol.
