  3. CREW DEAL: 2014 DECKadence Marine Flooring

CA are you getting my emails? Idaho is far away so maybe they are slow to get here?
  4. CREW DEAL: 2014 DECKadence Marine Flooring

CA, Any chance this deal can still be had? Sent a PM with details. Thanks, Auldman
  5. How about this? http://www.ebay.com/...84225b6&vxp=mtr It's 24V so you would need a step up and it looks like it doesn't come with the install kit but that is readily sourceable at your local auto parts. Looks like the parts you would need are: 1 - Switch plate and indicator assembly 4 - #8 Stainless steel hose clamps 2 - 6 foot lengths of 14 gauge wire 3 - 6 foot lengths of 3 inch vent hose 6 - Brass fittings for universal installation 1 - 50 feet x 5/8 inch 150 PSI heater hose I would think that you could assemble and install for ~$200 all in. Definitely a requirement in Idaho to extend the season on either end! PS It looks like it only comes with euro vents. JMSonline has the pull out vents for $36 each. http://www.jmsonline.net/heater-craft-marine-prod-hot-tube-wadj-vent-black-het-h521b.htm?gclid=CJnlvqGgmLUCFQ_hQgodkXoAAQ
  6. Spring is here in the great Northwest - that means the ice is starting to break up on the lake! Looking for some advice on removing the bow seat (really just the starboard backrest) on my '06 Avy. Anybody done this? Any gotcha's to be aware of? I am going to mount a board inside the locker beihnd that seat to mount my amps for my stereo build. Yes there will be photos! Thanks, Chris
  7. Well that would sure be easier! Strong enough to hold 3 amps? (in-boat, sub and tower) It would be awesome if there was already wood there! Dura, any though on how think that wood is for the mounting screws? Gotta look this weekend.
  8. Crew, Looking for a little advice for this coming summer. Trying to put together a week long camping trip w\ boat to Flaming Gorge. Anybody have any local knowledge or spent any time camping there? Best ramp? Best campsites close to best ramp? We would be camping in an RV along with some trailers and tents in our group so some services would be nice. What are the conditions like in Late July-ish? Any restaurant\bar recommendations. Thanks in advance. Auldman
  9. Flaming Gorge

BC, Thanks for the info. Trying to tie down dates but will definitely let you know what we figure out. What is the fuel situation? Is there any close by on the lake or will we need to pull out for fuel? Does Lucerne have any docks or will we need to trailer every night? How am I going to wait until next summer to go!?
  10. Flaming Gorge

DiHydrogenMonOxideKing, Always appreciate hearing about regional lakes. We are hoping to hook up with friends and family out of Colorado so Flaming Gorge seems like a good middle point for our trip. Ever make it a little more east? We have an awesome lake here in McCall called Payette Lake. Gorgeous glacial lake with bunches of great beaches. One requirement is that if you do visit you have to go back home and lie about what you find here!
  11. Video of our Enzo with Wet Sounds REV10s

Lovin' the color of your boat RR! Doc makes me wonder what mine sounds like from the beach. I would be happy w\ half that audio intensity! The neighbors might feeel differently, of course.
  12. Maybe it has "muscle memory" from the previous owners surf sessions! Definitely sounds "goofy".
  13. So I replaced my Jabsco puppy with a Johnson Ultra over the weekend. I tested the pump before I mounted it and it was working in both directions (in and out) or at least it was kicking on and making noise. Then as I was finishing up I tested again to make sure I hadn't bumped something while doing final assembly. Strange thing is it works in one direction (out in this case) but not the other. Fuse is just fine and doesn't blow when I flick the switch to fill just nothing happens. I tried a second pump that I have with the same result. Is there another fuse someplace other than under the dash? Could the relay be bad? Help! Thanks in advance. -Auldman
  14. Hmmmm, that makes the issue harder to troubleshoot since the port and starboard tanks are acting the same way. Both work incoming but the pump doesn't run for out going. I was hoping the switches were in series and the "lead" switch was broken and not allowing current through to the other switch. Is there a fuse someplace that I dont know about? At this point I have replaced the pump and the relay and checked the fuses under the dash all of which seems in order. :wallbash:
  15. BC...No I haven't resolved my issue yet though it may be because I am a slacker. Got plans to dig into the switches as the last resort. Any ideas on how they are wired? Are they in serial so that if one is bad it takes down the whole set?
  16. The Jabsco was setup reverseable with the exception of the center tank which has a secondary dump pump. The behavior is the same on the port and starboard swtiches so I don't believe that it is related to a loose wire plus I was not in there when it started acting funny. Also tried the pump outside the boat last night and it reverses fine using a battery and swapping the wires on the terminals. Any chance it could be a gremlin?
  17. Not a bad thought. I know when they sit the impeller can get a little sticky but I tested the puppy on a battery and it spun one way then the other switching terminals. Plus I would think it would blow a fuse if it was just sticking. Also I did try it on the water with no luck.
  18. Mounting an EQ

I'd be interested in a mount like that too! I am in the middle of upgrading and was trying to decide on a mounting location too.
  19. Building a new house

Is that the beginnings of the Lake? How many slips are you planning for?
  20. Building a new house

If you are going to use a wood burning fireplace then put doors on the outside wall of the wood hopper. This allows you to stack it full of wood without having to drag it though the living room. Also, if you are going to be on a well a constant velocity pump instead of a regular waterpump. It allows you to get rid of the pressure tank and gives you virtually unlimited pressure for sprinklers etc.
  21. Building a new house

I second both the insulation in all of the interior walls and 2x6 framing. We have that in our home and it makes a HUGE difference. One area that we missed though is the floors\ceilings and I wish we would have thought of it. Also, the 2x6 exterior walls. They are pretty much standard in snow country now but for the nominal extra $$ it seems worthwhile.
  22. Building a new house

One thing I forgot but is an absolute must as long as you are building...Have the builder put in a lake. Don't scrimp on this one as I truely regret not getting one and I am sure there are other crew members who would highly recommend it. You should also install extra docks for the Crew! If there is any spare $$ left put in a fuel dock.
