  1. Don't be afraid to take a wrench to that T handle drain plug. It was likely tightened with a wrench to begin with. And yes, counter clockwise will loosen it. My boat has the same hull. Just currently started to get it surfable. All I have at the moment is two 600 pound ballast bags for the rear. Homemade suck gate. Sweet spot is very small but rideable. I'd also like to hear from others on setup. I'm not interested in listing the boat so preferably like to hear weighting this hull with a suck gate type device.
  2. A subtle sized helmet logo would look nice in that triangle area
  3. Raccoon got in the boat!

Thanks guys for giving me direction. I'll order some adhesive and seal em up!
  4. Damn coons got in the boat while camping. They put some puncture holes in the upholstery. Any tips on a fix? I'll get it replaced in the winter but in the mean time, I don't want the holes to become bigger and worse. 5. Just got back into the wakeboard scene. Sold my last boat about 15 years ago and lots of things have changed! I picked up a 03 centurion lightning. I'm getting into this wakesurf scene and need some guidance. I'll I have is the stock center ballast. So how much ballast do I need in each rear locker and the bow? Im looking at these: https://www.wakemakers.com/eight3-telescope-400x2-500-bow-bag-3700gph-pump-combo.html https://www.wakemakers.com/eight3-telescope-800x2-500-bow-bag-3700gph-pump-combo.html https://www.wakemakers.com/eight3-telescope-1100x2-500-bow-bag-3700gph-pump-combo.html i don't want to get a system that is not enough or too much weight. I'm also using a homemade wake shaper. I'm 6' 215lbs. Also, is there an easy way of permanently installing a rear ballast system that somehow connects to the existing center ballast plumbing?
  6. They're plastic I think. Def not wood.
  7. My engine compartment has dividers. What type of reinforcement are you talking about? Is there some kind of product (gotta a link?) or is it something that's more of a DIY thing? Thanks.
  8. Excellent feedback! That's the kind of info I was looking for. I'll def research the sumo stuff. It's all new to me to but I'm learning.
  9. '04 Lightning... just picked her up and having a few things I want to repair (myself, hopefully). Gas gauge isn't accurate and sticks occasionally. How do I go about fixing that? Both speedo (paddle wheel sensor) and tach don't work. Other parts of the gauge work though (volt, oil pressure, water temp...etc). How do I go about tackling those issues? Im looking into adding a Perfect Pass. Do I need a workin tach gauge?
  10. Thanks for the tips. I'm gonna google some of that info now.
  11. I have the same gauges. Neither my tach or speedo work. How do I determine if it's the gauge and not an issue elsewhere? I can live without a speedo but I need my tach!
