  1. 2015 Supreme S226 seat issues

For those that messaged me, I'm sorry I didn't get back. I haven't logged in for a long time and wanted to update this. After TWO YEARS of battling this issue after I was told by Centurion/Supreme I'd be getting new skins under a goodwill I finally got them mid-March. This was after countless efforts by me, and also Centurion/Supreme telling me the seats were completed and on their way. The person I dealt with was helpful and I don't want to knock her down. BUT whatever was happening after her was just terrible. The upholstery shop is installing the skins right now but informed me most of the skins didn't have the seams stitched which is going to add a large cost to me. Because it took so long they had to send me the 2018 color/design as they didn't have the fabric anymore. Which they did when I was first told they would fix the seat issues. Also, whoever the genius at Supreme was who cut them wrote with permanent marker on the back of the skins which bled through and onto other skins as well. So the upholstery shop spent a week cleaning them to get rid of the marker mess. All in all this added quite a bit of price on my end. I understand they didn't have to "goodwill" my seats, but with how terrible they all looked and continually got worse, I think anyone trying to do damage control would have done the same. I will never own a Supreme product again, or deal with River Valley Marine who didn't do a thing (we've bought multiple boats through them). Again, the customer service person I dealt with was always nice to me so I don't want to knock her. But this took TWO years to fix. I've never seen this problem with the other boats I frequently see. But, hey I guess this ordeal is almost done with and summer is almost here. Probably should be happy about that!
  2. I haven't logged on here in a while, but figured I would to see if this is a normal issue? I tried one time to get help from CS at Supreme but it was a terrible experience. Anything else I should do? It looks like glue from underneath the seat and foam. It looks absolutely AWFUL in the sunlight, to the point I hate parking at restaurants and will not buy another Supreme. I understand it isn't brand new, but I've owned boats a lot older than this without this going on. https://ibb.co/qry4XSZ https://ibb.co/jgzMvBk https://ibb.co/bj4z8jf https://ibb.co/Jj7W4hd https://ibb.co/J70cc2d https://ibb.co/y4rwWZt https://ibb.co/nD6Wc2K
  3. Issues with Supreme vs other brands?

My personal opinion is when I bought it was a great deal for the value. However I have had issues with it, and my whole interior needs to be replaced. If I had to do it again I would have bought a brand with better local support to me. Moomba, AXIS, Malibu, etc. are the popular boats where I live. You don't ever see Supremes. I've found it isn't good for surfing either (even thoughts it says Surf Series on it) without putting lead weight in the boat.

Yes, it has gotten worse, the "trails and divots" are a LOT more noticeable in the sun. It's actually pretty embarrassing. I've tried working with the dealer I bought it from and they're completely useless. I've been dealing with the CA factory, but I haven't gotten much feedback from them due to the COVID shutdowns. I re-sent my hull ID and am waiting to hear if they're going to make good on what they said last year.

PLOT TWIST.... So this has turned into an absolute nightmare and I'm getting ZERO help from the dealer (River Valley Marine). At the beginning of the month I called River Valley so I could pick up the seat skins, they came in late last year and I wasn't able to get my boat from dry storage. So anyways, the dealer informs me they had TWO skins and there's a $400 charge. Interestingly enough Supreme told me they would warranty the interior and I would just pay for install. Not TWO skins with a price tag, every seat/cushion/etc. I e-mailed my contact on the e-mail chain from last season and was informed the employee I was dealing with is no longer there (of course) and due to COVID19 the CA factory is essentially shutdown. So 3 weeks ago I was informed that this new person would look into it and have an answer shortly, NO word back yet. I called River Valley who is again ZERO help and was told they remember the issue but basically they didn't want to help as they just want to sell boats. The general consensus of River Valley is they're only there to sell you the boat, whatever happens after good luck. So now my interior still looks terrible, and I have no response from anyone as to whether they'll make it right after they told me they would. At this point, unless something drastic happens shortly, I will NEVER buy a Supreme product again. I said this before, but they had seemingly made it right, turns out they didn't. I feel like I've totally been had. And I'm sympathetic to their shutdown in CA, but 3 weeks ago I was told I'd have an answer shortly. I wasn't expecting skins the next day, but at least an answer would have been nice. This has been the biggest cluster f*** I've ever dealt with in my life. Best part is, I have the correspondence and they won't even acknowledge that
  6. 2015 S226 Value?

I'm toying with trading my 2015 in for something newer. My 226 is in great shape, has around 260 hours. The dealer I bought it from offered me $35,000 which I nearly laughed at. I figured it'd be worth quite a bit more? Color is black, white, and silver. Comes with a trailer as well.

Isn't any on there, or anywhere else for that matter
  8. 2015 Supreme S226 seat issues

Just got off the phone with CS at Supreme. In 6 weeks I need to bring my boat to my dealer and they're going to replace the whole interior! Pretty impressed! She said they were shocked to see just how bad it looked and it was obviously a reaction with the glue used.

I believe the warranty is still intact. I'm hoping for some information today from the manufacture. I have the divot issue as well which i highlighted in my post above this. Nice thing is, the Supreme dealer is about 5 minutes from my house. I wanted to go direct to Supreme first though just to have that nailed down. I'll keep this thread updated on what goes on. Being it's every cushion if they do ask me to send them back it's going to require quite a bit of work on the dealers part!

What's even worse, is that it looks twice as bad in the sun! We do a lot of docking up at restaurants and also tying up with large groups of boats. It has been noticed by nearly everyone I know. I also have the divot issue going on which looks bad too! I attached a picture below. I did speak with the factory last night and sent all the pictures. Hopefully they will offer a solution as it's not getting better and as of now I'm considering trading the boat in this winter/spring for a different manufacture due to this. I really like everything else, but this just aesthetically looks terrible. Divot issue below, photo comes in sideways for some reason. https://ibb.co/sHwCW1f
  11. Tips for cleaning out the floor gaps?

    Power washer works great.
  12. So I just got my boat back from the dealer who put Valtera valves in and had to wire in switches. Now the port side PNP bag won't fill! The pump motor goes on but won't fill. The other side works, we swapped impellers and the port side still didn't work but the other side still worked. I'm absolutely 100% perplexed and lost. We blew water through the line and could hear it come out from under the boat so it's not clogged I don't think. What the hell else could it be before I call the dealer and ream them. It worked before and I need to boat by Friday to work for surfing.
  13. No. the dealer wired the port PNP switch wrong.
  14. Ok, so after calling nearly every dealer, Centurion/Supreme direct, and speaking with the lead tech at the dealer I bought it from it was tracked down to bad wiring at the switch. I took off the switch panel and found two wire were reversed. Hooked them up correctly and now it works. I honestly think I'm going to have to buy and use a wake shaper.. I had the 1100lb port PNP nearly full, center tank full, port quick fill full. Speed was 11.2 and trim tab was 15% and the wave was still pretty small. I do NOT want to buy lead bags either.
  15. Yep. It's just weird because before I dropped it off at the dealer it worked. Now it doesn't. And before someone says to bring it back to the dealer... my trailer is 30 minutes away one direction in storage, then I have to go to the launch which takes 20 minutes, then wait a week plus because they have to bring it an hour away to the service location. They're also of NO help. i called a different dealer and they told me to check every single fitting to ensure there isn't an air leak and then to prime the system what's the best way to do this? Fill the bag with water from the hose then hit empty and see if it will suck water?
  16. All good ideas and suggestions. As weird as this sounds I sucked on the tube that goes into the sac to prime it and it wouldn't draw water/prime but I could feel the pressure in the line from me trying to draw water up to the pump It's just so weird, the pump makes noise, the impeller is fine, but it won't pump. Even in the drain position it wouldn't suck the bag tight Im buying a new pump today (hopefully local) and I pray that's the issue. It has to be.
  17. Well, I guess I can grab a new pump over lunch and start there. So dumb... thankfully we did tried tonight before I brought a group out on Saturday.
  18. Ok, so hitting empty or fill does the same thing...nothing... The pump makes noise, pretty much the same noise the other pump makes but it's louder and again I think that's because it's not having water pass through it to quiet it. I can try and check the wires, but being it doesn't fill in the up or down position that wouldn't mean it's reversed, correct? I can try and fill the bag with water tomorrow and. As I mentioned I took the bottom cover off on both starboard and port pump, starboard has no issue filling or emptying but the port does. I switch everything and starboard still works but the port still doesn't. The impellers are fine, so I don't understand what could be going on. Can the pump go bad and still make noise?
  19. The valve handle by the bilge is straight up and down, I know it's open because I blew in the line and I could feel the air go out the bottom of the boat. We tried hitting empty and no dice On the new quick fill switches they're different. They're a up only switch. You hit it up it opens, you hit it up again and it closes. I'm wondering if they some how tied into that and it's messing with the PNP pump? Either way I've almost had it with this dealer.
  20. The motor is running but it's not pumping any water up the lines to the pump or into the bags. I mean the port pump literally sounds like it's running, it's louder than the other side but I'm assuming that's because it's not sucking any water. It sounds exactly like it's running. Its the strangest thing. Like I said we swapped everything (impeller, o-ring, and bottom plate) to the pumps and the right side still worked but the port still didn't. I dont know if the pump is bad and doesn't have enough pressure to spin water up the lines or what. I'm absolutely pissed. Second time I've brought friends out and it not worked
  21. Pricing a 2015 s226

I walked out of the dealer with mine that had 130hours for 63 and that was with a trailer and everything else. I believe they had had it listed for $58 for just the boat.
  22. So I have a bimini on my tower which is great to have. The only problem is when it's folded into the bag I can't legally drive at night as it covers the front view to the light. So every time we're headed home we have to open the bimini up and then fold it back up when we get home which is actually kind of a pain. Is there an EASY way to review the bimini and store? I see it's screwed in but was wondering if there is a button I can press for an easy removal/install? Or does someone make a light extension that would raise it 6" or so? It's a 2015 S226
  23. Tower navi light/bimini help

For anyone wondering... you push the small square tab down and the bimini pops off. Took .02 seconds. For some reason PB won't let me post pics http://i1010.photobucket.com/albums/af227/sierrcaC3/A6764CA1-E391-4ED3-9380-27A0AB98AF7B_zps9jgrykjk.jpg
  24. Tower navi light/bimini help

Our lake has about 750 sheriffs that are total buzz kills. So I try and do what I can to avoid them. Also, that is a great idea. I never though of doing that. I'll be trying that this weekend.
